City kebab

A wonderful family run Persian restaurant. The food was delicious - the meat was full of flavor and melt in mouth quality! They clearly put heart into the authentic meals. City Kebab as a name doesn't do this place justice - it's absolutely amazing dine in Persian food!

I ordered the Kase Kebab and Kashk Bademjan, and both dishes were absolutely wonderful. The kebab was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and tender, while the Kashk Bademjan had a rich and creamy texture with just the right blend of spices. The presentation was impressive, and the portion sizes were generous. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and I highly recommend these dishes.

We ordered the mixed kubideh. It was amazing—authentic Persian food cooked to perfection. The chicken and beef were moist and the sides were generous, making for a filling and fulfilling meal. It was also reasonably priced! I would say the highlight was the amazing service. The couple who I presume to be the owners were gracious hosts and made us feel welcome. They were there to answer any of our questions and even gave us a free dessert! Summary: - easily accessible/walkable area - food arrived quickly - generous serving; reasonably priced - great hosts

Wonderful new establishment, getting their momentum. I've been wanting to try Persian food for a long time and this was such a treat. I eat a keto diet, and the chef was able to hold the rice, and everything else was perfection. Putting this on my to-order list when I also need some takeout. The chef's wife was a wonderful host, offering beverages and a small dessert treat to sample. She took the time to explain each dish and was very attentive to our needs during the meal. The food was beautifully plated and delicious! I had mixed gobideh and we had the cucumber mint yogurt dip. YUM! I'd recommend to the owners to consider playing some Persian music to set the mood! The decor is so lovely, I want to enjoy a full, immersive experience! Looking forward to eating there again. Thank you!

City Kebab is a cozy new addition to the neighborhood. It's perfect because there are now more halal options within the neighborhood. We were a group of 6 people and enjoyed a bunch of different types of food. For appetizers we had kash-o-bademjan and salad shirazi. For main courses, we had vaziri, koobideh, and sultani kababs. The portions are generous and the food is really tasty. We had doogh for drinks. Prices are also quite good. However, the best part was the exceptional service that we received. The server was extremely sweet and accommodating. I know that I'll be coming back. This is a perfect new spot to be. The decor is beautiful, everything is clean, and the food is delicious.

I recently dined at the new Persian restaurant in Midtown, and it was outstanding. As someone who has tried almost all the Persian restaurants in Toronto, this one is the closest to the flavors I love from Iran. The Koobideh Kebab was perfectly seasoned and cooked, and the Zeytoon Parvardeh appetizer was fantastic. The service was excellent, and the ambiance was warm and inviting. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone seeking authentic Persian cuisine in Toronto. I’ll definitely be returning!

We tried the kebab bowl and it was fantastic. The flavors were authentic and delicious, giving us a true taste of Persian cuisine. Amir did an excellent job taking care of our needs, making the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Iranian food in Toronto Midtown area.
