Best butter tarts!! Pecans are my favorite. Also the almond croissant was awesome! Need to go back to try the other desserts and drinks. Went on a Sunday morning and line up was almost out the door!!!

One of my favourite bakery and coffee spots! I love doing my morning walk and come straight to this place (I know, counter intuitive but this is my reward lol) Every single time im here makes me so happy! One time the cashier forgot my other drink, i told the barista about it and she gave it to me for free! I was willing to pay for it but hey! It was nice for her to offer anyways. Love this place! Please dont change. Oops, the parking can be a hassle but its totally worth it.

Unlikely that I can add much more detail or observation here that hasn’t been said already, but Circles & Squares is right now the hottest bakery cafe on the block, drawing lineups around it. And for very good reason, as the baked goods are nearly incomparable and stunningly flavoured and presented. Yesterday’s foray was an almond croissant and a poached in red wine pear galette, and both were just fantastic: fresh crispy flaky buttery pastry, complex almond paste flavors,,fresh crispy flaky sweet pear slices. Accompanying was a damn good latte for each of us. Seating is limited inside but we snagged a couple of stools at the broad communal table and just watched a steady stream of first timers and regulars coming in, leaving with boxes of pastries and armloads of bread and baguettes. They do sandwiches and salads which were also being snapped up quickly . Staff is friendly and efficient, and the glass backing behind the counter lets you look in on the size of the kitchen operations ( they supply baked goods to many other businesses) . On fine days there is seating outdoors. Other locations downtown are also equally rammed and popular. We also took home a sampler of their award winning butter tarts and these are just flaky short crust gooey maple-y sugary flavour bombs of pure happiness. Make the effort to go.

A hidden coffee and more shop within a primarily industrial area. Love all the seating options, from indoor bar and coffee shop combo seatings, to outdoor picnic table and lawn chair style. Perfect outdoor on nice warm days. I can't have enough of their baguettes - so delicious! Recommend the chive and cheese baguette and caramel apple croissant. And the mint chai tea was also 👌👌! Friendly staff.

Nice little bakery with good food. The butter tarts are huge and quite lovely. I will have to go back to try some more of their selection. I found parking to be crazy as people park either side of road, not considering how much they are cutting off the roadway. This is not the bakery’s fault, but if you plan to stop be aware.

We ordered almond croissant, spinach & artichoke brioche, stuffed everything bagel croissant-i added salmon here, black coffee and masala chai. All items tasted good, except stuffed everything bagel-it was very salty. Very nice ambiance inside and outside patio also available. Overall a good experience.

Excellent bakery and cafe overall. Expect big crowds on the weekend. Finding a table was a bit difficult. They have coffee, fresh breads, lots of pastries, croissants and sandwiches. The deli sandwich on sesame baguette was very good. Only gripe is that the baguette was a bit hard. Everything croissant with smoked salmon was mind blowingly good. Pecan butter tart was also very good and tasted fresh. A tad bit too sweet. Cappuccino with oat milk was also quite good. We also got their focaccia bread to go. It was very soft and flavorful. The prices are typical. Everything adds up quickly. We found ourselves spending $50 for two people. We'll be back to try their sausage rolls.

Always my favourite neighborhood cafe. They have big space with outdoor seatings, patio, and indoor seating. Everything is clean and decorated very modernly. Everything they do is just amazing, weekend is always packed but their baked goods are always fresh and delicious. If you ask what they have, I have to ask back what they don't have. They make so many things here and with good quality. You can get coffee, summer drink, icecream, sandwich, salad, packed food, and all the delicious baked goods in the world from the famous butter tart to croissant, muffin, nanaimo bar. They cover everything. Honestly I love everything here. My favorite are definitely the sausage roll, mango passion fruit cruffin, and ofc the famous butter tarts. I think their croissants are okay, less buttery than some others in the city, but they have very creative flavors. Don't sleep on their cake cup though the carrot cake cup was so flavorful, fluffy and rich. They have so many different types of breads, I loved the focaccia it is so thick and delicious. They rotate the menu quite often with lots of seasonal goodies I’ve been here so many times my credit card got scared now haha
