Cippy's Place

Found the most charming pancake spot in Niagara, and I can’t stop thinking about it! The food was amazing, with generous portions. The cozy atmosphere, the friendly chef and staff, and the way everyone seemed to know each other made it feel like a home away from home. We visited on a snowy day, and sitting inside with the snow falling outside gave me such a nostalgic, melancholy feeling 🥹This is definitely a place I’ll return to every time I’m in Niagara!

You can't get more homemade than this. The atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The owner/cook is top notch. He called me out as an American almost instantly. Apparently, scrambled eggs with cheese is not a Canadian thing lol. The food was the best we had our entire trip. Fresh, local, simple, and made with love and jokes. The only bad part, we weren't able to make it back before we headed back across the border. Incredibly delicious and priced just right. Side note: They are CASH ONLY.

Authentic place, family owned. Good bang for the buck. Burning fat since 1967. I would always prefer going there before I would do IHOP or any other franchise place.

Just go! A local treasure. Small and cozy, felt like family instantly. That fresh Italian toast was so delightful! Get the French toast, it was perfection!

The moment you walk in you can feel the history and friendly, fun atmosphere. They may only take cash, but that adds to the traditional atmosphere of Cippy's. A great way to start your morning when on vacation and not in a hurry. The portions are well worth the price. Highly recommend!!!

What a hole in the wall! But what a great local experience. The old men at the counter were talking baseball. And the cook was bantering back and forth with them. A greasy spoon at its finest. Very small menu, but it’s breakfast what more do you need. You’ll leave with sticky elbows and a full happy tummy!

It is a small place with so much amazing history. We had the #2 breakfast special, and it was outstanding. Cooked to perfection with the perfect portions....and the Italian toast is soooooo good. The service was exactly what you would expect from a small breakfast place like this. Greetings when you walk in, lots of funny small talk from the waitress, she is the best. The coffee kept flowing. Prices are perfect... Don't forget to tip and tip well. They deserve it. They only accept cash so come prepared, we didn't, lol. We were going to run down the street to the ATM before we ate, but he told us to relax and get it after we had breakfast. Such an awesome place. Do yourself a favor and avoid the Tim Horton's down the street. Come here and enjoy the experience.

Overall, super happy about finding an Italian owned local spot. As an Italian myself, it was super unique little diner spot. Love the pictures and the history. Food was excellent and great conversation with my paisan. lol as for the cost I’m still perplexed. We ordered the #1 at $6.99 and #3 at $6.99 and two waters and it came to $23? I’m not sure if that’s the exchange with USD and not sure how much the waters were, but I feel like it would’ve been nice to have a real receipt slip to see exactly how it was calculated. He just told me $23 and then I got $2.50 back in Canadian change lol. So I’m not sure about that at all. But overall great tasting food for a great price. I apologize if I’m an idiot when it comes to money total and exchange. That’s why a receipt is nice
