Heard about this restaurant on social media, so I had to try it out with my friends. We love food and special if it is said to be authentic we are there. Maybe I'm not sure if anyone knows what authentic is, but for me, not really, unless this is how plain and simple vietmanes street food is. There wasn't really like OMG, which was amazing. Kind of reaction from me. The only thing I really like was the beef sticks that came with the papaya sald. We tried the banh xeo- vietnames crispy pancake, which was okay. The soup we had it was alright as well. I mean, it may not be my spot, but it was worth a try. We shared all the dishes so we got a taste of everything. Good portions to share.

Food is delicious! I like that the menu is rotating and they are authentic -- not like a pho 99 etc. The atmosphere is cute it reminds of a lovely French+Viet village. The name is a nice play on words for the bamboo food storage. Food is 5/5 service takes it's time but we understood this is new and it'll only get better in time. We were just happy to see authentic dishes you couldn't get at other restaurants and they were cooked well. Would recommend and come again.

The portion is very small compared to other Vietnamese restaurants. 2 chicken wings for $13, pretty pricey! The service is very slow because there is only one server, and I think he is the relative of the owner too. The amount of food is very little too. No wonder when I first stepped in, it was empty and we were the only customers. To be fair, the food taste ok but I don’t think it is competitive to other Viet restaurants in Toronto.

Super authentic with gorgeous interior! I went with my parents and they definitely were nostalgic and reminded of Vietnam. The interior is understated, humble, and feels like a beautiful home, making the meal overall more enjoyable. The service was amazing and answered any questions we had about the food, which makes up for the somewhat long waiting time for our dishes. The food was worth the wait! It was delicious and tasted authentic. One thing to know is their fish sauce is on the sweeter side. The green papaya salad with beef jerky was fresh and aromatic, and the BBQ pork on steamed rice was pleasantly sweet. I would say the bún riêu was strikingly average and bland. The real stunner was the La Vong Style Fish—the fish was buttery and so delicious with the bún! Highly recommend that one. The price point is much higher than your typical Viet restaurant, but I believe it’s worth the price including the atmosphere, and the delicacy each dish is produced with. Overall, it was a pleasant, authentic experience which will bring me back here some time again!

I had a really great experience here. The decor is charming, and the staff are super attentive and kind. The menu is small, but it feels like they put extra care into every dish. You can really see and taste the quality in everything we tried. They also offer rotating specials, which we enjoyed! Overall, I think it provides a more refined yet authentic take on Vietnamese food, and it's definitely worth the price for a dine-in meal compared to your average spot. I really hope they do well, and I’ll definitely be going back!

Absolutely banger! You have to give this place a try. The food is spot on and reminds you about Vietnam. Desserts are absolutely delicious and not too sweet. Music, decoration, lightning, everything is gorgeous. Mind you this is an experience and not a place to grab a quick bite. The wait and the price are worth it. Edit: second visit: absolutely no service. Water/ tea was never refilled and empty during our hour long stay. No one to check up on us despite having only 3 tables.

This place is a hidden gem! They offer a variety of unique dishes you won’t find anywhere else. I loved everything I ordered, especially the Harvest Snow, Cha Ca La Vong, and Banh Xeo. The server was amazing—friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. As someone who grew up in Vietnam, the ambiance here really resonates with me. My only wish is that they start offering alcoholic drinks in the future. Highly recommend!
