Church's Texas Chicken

Bought food from here many times. Last few times thought it was a fluke but it's not. 1. They are NOT using the proper franchised food. They are using ALOT of different food items, for example, the fries are NOT Church's fries. 2. They wrap your food in brown paper bags for the fries and the sandwiches is some red wrapper. Again, not Churches brand. 3. The chicken sandwiches are not tasting like what they should be. Corporate needs to investigate. Seeing the review recently, clearly there is something shady going on here.

Came here for the first time on a Thursday night with my GF. We have tried Mexicana Sandwich , fried chicken, Honey-Butter Biscuit , onion rings, Mac and Cheese Bites , Jalapeño Bombers & Apple Pie. Chicken was so juicy and skin was super crunchy yet flavorful. Dipped into the gravy was just perfect! My fav was the biscuit! A must try! Service was excellent as well! Check them out!

Avoid this location. I am never coming back. I went to this Church's Chicken on a Friday at 12:30 pm. It was empty except for one other customer waiting for food. I placed my order and asked for dine in. After what felt like 15 minutes, my order was finally ready. Why did it take so long in a empty restaurant? The staff seem very unprofessional, it's like a family with kids working here, all they do is talk loudy and it seems like they are fooling around, not actually working. The bags and wrappers my order came it doesn't look like franchise approved packaging. The restaurant staff probably are cutting corners to save money? Anyways my fries were tossed in a paper bag half hazardly, and my "classic chicken sandwich" is OBVIOUSLY just a frozen chicken burger purchased at the local grocery store. The owners of this restaurant are definitely not making what is on the menu. The corporate office should investigate this location.

Typically I don't bother with writing reviews but in my 34 years I have never had chicken the texture that 3/5 pieces of my tenders were. It felt like chewing through a hard rubber never mind the off colouring of the chicken my husband had. The fries were clearly old and close to powdery inside, gravy was clumpy and some of the chicken had a spoiled taste. So instead of an easy dinner as a treat for my husband and I we now have to wonder if we spent almost $40 to potentially get food poisoning... awesome.

Patrons beware. This is the sum total of fries I got with my meal which is too low considering the meal is $17. The portion is less than that of a kid size fries order elsewhere and is truly unacceptable. Had I known, I would have avoided this location.

I've been to a lot of the popular places lately that specialize in fried chicken. My most recent venture was Church's Texas Chicken in Whitby. I remember there was a Church's at Brimley and Sheppard in Scarborough many years ago and then they disappeared, all of them. I'm kinda glad they came back. I was feeling kinda hungry so I ordered their 3pc combo, which included three pieces of their crispy fried chicken, fries, biscuit, and a drink. I opted for a mix of spicy and original recipe, and got two pieces of leg and a huge piece of breast meat. Not bad. As expected, the chicken was hot, fresh, crispy, and delicious!. These pieces had just come out of the fryer and were really good! The biscuit and fries were equally good but the fries were a lot less than anticipated. This particular location has an awkward layout, with the main entrance on the corner of the building, steps away from a busy major intersection. The service counter is angled towards the entrance, which is okay for pedestrian traffic. This layout, however, creates blind spots for most of the dining room and also the entrance to/from the parking lot. The service provided by the two young ladies at the counter was good - friendly and courteous. While I was dining, however, the conversation in the kitchen got rather loud. Very unprofessional and inappropriate. Takeout might have been a better option.

Very clean restaurant.Food is vastly overpriced. I ordered the tex chicken sandwich, it was overloaded with mayo, i couldn't taste anything else. Also, we were the only people in there and our order took over 10 mins to complete. And when i took my daughter to the washroom to change her, to my surprise, there was no change table in the washroom. Over all. This restaurant needs to work a bit harder, but i think if they do, they would be a fantastic place.

Whoever was working on Sept 29, at 1am really messed up. Not only on the quality of chicken they gave but on the phone as well. Nasty, rude, and horrible customer service. The chicken was so incredibly stale and old, it was completely inedible. The thigh was yellow and brown inside. I couldn’t even chew it. The breast they gave us was so dry you could tell the Chicken was there for hours. They charged me extra for the breast. It was smaller than the thigh. When I called to complain, they told us it’s not “that” old, meaning it was old. Im livid. They also gave me Diet Coke instead of Coke Zero. Nastyyyyyy!!! Never again.
