Church's Texas Chicken

I came to this place last week, it was empty on a Tuesday lunch hour. Ordered my food and it was prepared very quickly. They give big portions, their coleslaw container is big for being sold as small. It's not cheap, $17 for 2-piece chicken meal, fries and drink included. The guy with a beard at the counter was very attentive and nice. My only complaint is that he told me they had "ran out" of ketchup. Are you kidding me? You didn't see your low stockpile the previous day? That's unprofessional. Had to eat my fries with no ketchip, a very ackward thing to experience. I give them 4 stars because of the fast service and generous food portion.

Although the seating arrangement is weird, the food is good, and the staff is friendly. It is hard to resist their divine fried chicken and unique and tasty biscuits. I highly suggest jalapeño poppers and onion rings. Both are flavourful and a great addition to your meal. Their coleslaw is also tasty. I must be honest. It's hard just to pick one side for your meal.

Biscuits are dry and tasteless was OK and onion rings was not even cooked properly. I was expecting better than that.

I don’t normally eat fried chicken but once in a long time may have a craving. This place did the job of fulfilling my craving with a good price. The chicken drumsticks pieces are large and spicy ones are particularly good. I just wish the sanity could be improved with proper usage of gloves by the staff.

Horrible side portions. The 8 piece family pack stated "large fries" and feeds 4 people. The fries I received are enough for two, maybe three people if your group has no appetite. Chicken is juicy, buns are nicely glazed.

The fried chicken was crispy and juicy. Honey biscuit was my favorite, with a light taste of butter and honey but not sweet. The outer is crispy as well. Churros were also good, short in size but rich in taste with cinnamon on the top. 3 pieces tender was not as good as the others, basically dry. They also always prepare and deliver food in a fast manner, which is another bonus.

(This location is not mobility accessible. There is 1 step in order to enter the business and a door that is not automatic. The step is not steep, however it may be inaccessible for some individuals.) The rating is solely based on the quality of food and not the service. I ordered wings which were very crispy and a good amount of meat on the wings. I also ordered some biscuits that had a great flavour, the tops and bottoms had a bit of crispiness from the honey but the inside was super soft and tasted great. Service... 3 guys sitting behind the counter, telling me what was not available on the menu... I understand logistics issues, but when I attempted to order different food items, everything was going to be 15 minutes. At 6pm, I would think most items would be readily available.
