Church's Texas Chicken

This burger is so expensive it’s always good but this time I bought it and the patty was burnt and not even the regular size. Very disappointed as I was looking forward to the meal, and was very hungry coming from work.

I couldn’t believe what I saw a worker I believe a Muslim lady around 9pm Oct 6 I didn’t catch her name was watering plants from the soda machine she put the plants in the machine! VERY GROSS!!!! There was left over dirt in said soda machine …., I also feel so bad there was a hard working girl all by herself serving 20 odd people good on her!

If I could do zero stars I would've, my 2 chicken burgers were raw and pink inside, my tummy is now super upset so I ended up opening a health and safety violation against them through uber eats. This restaurant deserves to be shut down. Especially how many reviews show the food being undercooked or rotted

This thing happened twice, we paid for maxicana sandwiches and the girl work there didn’t told us that there is no maxicana patties so she just put two pieces of chicken tenders that tastes disgusting.

Edit: responding to the response of the owner… this is not the wrong location. Look at the pictures, look what I wrote. I’ve had Church’s twice at the Whitby location and had issues with the service both times. I figured trying this location would be different. I only ordered 2 chicken sandwiches, nothing else. I ordered at 2:55pm, I sat down to wait for my sandwich. I noticed that there was a Tex Supreme sandwich sitting on the heating area about 3:00pm which I figured was one of my sandwiches. Someone came in after us, ordered a sandwich, received sandwich, left, came back, ate and left. Still I didn’t have my food. About 3:15pm I ask about my order; they said the sandwiches take a while… weird but ok. Still eye balling that sandwich sitting in the heating area this whole time. (You can see in the photo) 3:25 rolls around and I finally have my second sandwich and low and behold that one sitting there for 20 minutes with lettuce on it was indeed mine. I mentioned it when they were bagging my items and it was dismissed. She asked if I wanted anything else and I said yes, a fresh piece of chicken on that sandwich that has been sitting there sweating and wilting for over 20 minutes. She kinda laughed but I reiterated that the sandwich has been sitting over 20 minutes and I have been waiting 30 minutes so I would like a fresh piece otherwise I would have eaten that first sandwich and waited for the second. I finally got my fresh piece and that only took 1 minute so I was extremely confused why it took 25 min the first time. Now that I got my sandwich it wasn’t that great. It was fine but not worth $10 a piece. The breast was like a half authentic breast but half pressed. Similar to a McCrispy. There’s plenty other options for less that won’t take more than 5 min. Unfortunately this was the 3rd issue with this franchise of 3 visits so I’m afraid I’m done with them. Just not worth the $25 and waiting over 30 min for some mediocre sandwiches.

Not enough spicy Chicken which the server can inform the customer . However, they didn’t not at all. I got regular chicken Inst dark meat spicy chicken. So disappoint that every time have a issues to order in this store.

I had an absolutely mouthwatering experience at Church's Texas Chicken! The $7.59 deal was an incredible steal for the deliciousness I enjoyed. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, and those fries were simply outstanding. The cherry on top was the exceptional customer service provided by the friendly and attentive employees. A truly satisfying meal that left me craving for more!

4.2/5 Pretty good location, near to many amenities. Close to Durham college. This is shared location with 2 other restaurants (Tahinis and Sbarro) Food quality is good. Quantity is also good. Price is comparable. Location is kept clean. Washrooms are available.
