A friend recommended this Hakka spot to me. Manchurian chicken with Manchurian fried rice was delicious! I can’t wait to return and try their other dishes!

Incredible Hakka dishes & warm hospitality! As someone who’s grown up on Hakka food in Toronto, I can easily say this is among the best. The chilli chicken was the best I’ve ever had—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Another massive standout was the shrimp toast, easily one of the best dishes I’ve ever tasted (pictured is 3 out of the 6, as my wife and I couldn't stop eating them). The owner’s hospitality made the experience even better; she was warm, funny, and made sure we were well taken care of. If you’re craving top-notch Hakka cuisine, this place should be your next stop.

Food was perfect Asian desi type fusion Chinese , everything was tasty full of spices and flavors every dish tasted different anybody looking for tasty spicy flavourful quality Chinese food must go there but be careful of their green chilli garnished on every dish😛

A hidden gem of a Hakka place is right. Owners are Hakka and have been running the restaurant for 27 years. Solid value for money with huge portions. Can't ask for more. Fried rice and chili chicken platter for one can easily feed 2. Shrimp toast was excellent as well but a bit pricier.

This is how hakkah food used to taste back in the days! My go to dish here is the ginger beef. A bit more expensive than the other Hakka spots in the area but not by much and the food is better than those places.

One of my all time favourite spots for chili chicken. Chung Moi is a family owned restaurant with a small cozy interior. I notice there’s regulars that come often as the owners (who are there most of the time when I visit), seem to recognize them. Their menu has a variety of dishes to choose from, but I mainly only tried their chili chicken. There are 2 options to choose from - with gravy or dry. Both versions are amazing, it’s just dependent if you’re looking for more sauce. Personally I prefer the dry because usually sauce would make the chicken not as crispy, so the dry version tends to be crispier. There is a kick (even with mild spiciness), so be prepared if you’re not good with spicy food. Also be mindful the chili chicken doesn’t come with rice, so you’ll have to order it separately. Currently due to Covid, this is one of the few Hakka places that is open for indoor dining. It's one of the best, clean and delicious taste. Everything on the menu that I tried was good: Chili Chicken dry, Beef noodles, chicken balls, shrimp fried rice, time before that Hakka vegetables and hot and sour soup. Only thing I wasn't a fan of is the hot and sour soup as it had too much coriander flavour in my opinion. Still a 5 star!
