Chuck's Roadhouse Bar & Grill

Credit where credit is due: The food at Chuck's Roadhouse in Aurora, Ontario is decent. This is my second visit at a Chuck's location; the first was at this same Aurora place back in May 2024. But while the food is fine, Chuck's falls down in just about every other category. In this latest visit, I had the misfortune to be there when a hockey game was on the giant-screen TV. This meant the TV was broadcasting a steady chatter at an ear-splitting volume, and the loud cheers that went up every time the home team scored a goal only made it worse. The Philly cheese steak sandwich I ordered was tasty enough if not overly warm. But it took a distressingly long time to arrive. Worse, the din from the television meant I could scarcely hear myself think, never mind converse with the friends who were at my table. (Even the men's washroom, which I'd have expected to be much quieter, blared loud music over its speaker.) Eager to make a hasty exit, I caught up with our waiter at the cash register and told him I'd like to pay my bill. He refused, instead making me wait an eternity at our table before he finally arrived to take all our payments. Then, when I tried to pay my bill with my credit card, the point-of-sale terminal malfunctioned. (I'd had that same problem on my May visit as well.) Switching to another card did the trick, but by then I was tired and annoyed. After two disappointing visits, I don't count Chuck's Roadhouse among the restaurants I wish to regularly patronize.

Stopped here on Christmas Eve and was fairly busy. Big shout out to Jess, and she was only server on shift. She was very polite to let us know and she will be as fast as she can. Food was pretty tasty. Jess is super awesome.

We went to Chuck’s restaurant today, and we were really hungry. We were heading there to have a good meal since it was the weekend. Honestly, we were so excited to enjoy it. However, the food they served us was awful. The steak they brought was completely burnt and inedible. Also, the burger my spouse ordered was totally burnt and terrible. It was such a disappointing experience.

We usually really like Chucks but this one was awful. We asked for crispy fries, and they were not. The ribs were burnt. She offered to replace them and the new ones were good, but I don't like to have to send food back because of their mistakes, such a waste. We won't be backto this location.

Ok I guess I didn't see that it's got the word a _bar_ in it's name, but ya - don't come on hockey night if you don't like noise! Nonetheless - for a ribeye steak for less than $30 it's not bad! Ribs were nice too. Service was quick and friendly, everyone worked very efficiently! Would recommend, would come back!

I went in for some lunch and had a great burger and fresh cut fries. Very reasonable prices for food and draft beer specials everyday. Enjoyed the atmosphere, company and staff so much I didn't leave for hours.

Was overall a pleasant experience. Steak was excellent. Only negative is the 3 percent surcharge regardless of whether or not you pay with cash or credit. They should just up their prices 3 percent.

Came here multiple times, every time always keeps me on my toes. Usually come for half price apps after 9pm. Always busy especially on a Friday and Saturday night. Service is also hit or miss, makes sense because it is very busy, lately service has been allot better though. Drinks are a great price, and apps are even better. I've had majority of the apps like Spinach Dip, Mozzarella Sticks, Calamari, Steak Bites, Wings, etc... First time trying the Carrot cake, haven't seen that on the menu before and it was great. If you want a good night out with affordable food and drinks, this is the place to come.
