Whatever you do. Do not buy this. I ordered on over eats. It’s atrocious. Oil slacked batter, almost no fish. It’s the worst I’ve ever order at home in close to 45 years of dish n chips. How the d people are leaving positive reviews… I have no idea. Awful, stay away, save your money I don’t leave bad reviews but this is appallingly bad. You should be ashwned

The best place for fish and chips! The workers remember us everytime we go in and know exactly what we get. They are just the nicest ppl and best food! Their poutine is to die for! You get so much food for the price! It's just the best!

We have lived in the neighborhood since 2000 and have frequented Chubby's for years, all food amazing. Since COVID, I have noticed it has gone downhill. Prices are super high, and portions smaller. Ordered fries past 3 times and they are white!!! Not golden crispy. Yesterday, fries were white (basically boiled in oil) and fish was over fried and dry. Disappointed.

I’ve been coming here since I moved to this area in 2001. Prices have definitely gone up over the years but the quality has always been consistent. Hearty pieces of halibut with perfectly golden fries. The gravy is unlike any other in the GTA! My favourite spot for fish and chips!

Ordered Halibut and Chips for takeout. Generous portions as you can see from the pictures. The fish tasted as your standard Halibut tastes. The batter was thin and light and went well with the Fish. Did I mention generous portions? Tonnes of fries for you fry lovers out there for sure. I'd definitely go again.
