We ordered the following items: - Masala Dosa - Mysore Masala Dosa - Idli Vada Combo - Paneer Lababdar with Garlic Naan - Chole Bhature The South Indian dishes, particularly the Masala Dosa and Mysore Masala Dosa, were exceptional and truly stood out. However, the Chole Bhature and other North Indian items were somewhat average in comparison. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience, and I would highly recommend this place for those seeking authentic South Indian cuisine.

Authentic Tamilnadu food. The chicken lollipop, mysore masala dosa, chicken fried rice, were very tasty. The portions are generous, too. Dinesh helped make it a memorable day. Must try

A great place to enjoy some delicious freshly prepared Indian food. The chef owns the place, hence there is no compromise on food quality. I tried their idli wada sambhar, shrimp noodles, mango lassi and chai, all of which were yummy. While their chhole in chhole bhature were different than what I expected, they were still enjoyable. Be prepared to wait a bit for your food if you are going during the evening peak hours. The service is outstanding and pretty transparent. Definitely a great value for the price. Highly recommend this place for food, but try to avoid the peak hours.

Average food quality and the atmosphere. We ordered Chola batura, chicken biryani and filter coffee. Nothing so special experience. I will suggest to improve the atmosphere and a little food quality. Thank you.

Authentic South Indian Delight! The chutneys were hands-down the best I've ever had - perfectly balanced and spicy. The Sambar was rich and flavorful, and slightly less spicy due to the bold chutneys. But that's a minor quibble, as the combination worked beautifully. The idli vada combo was a highlight, with the crispy, fluffy idli and bada paired perfectly with the three types of spicy chutneys. Mysore Dosa - prfect texture and flavor. The dosa was perfectly thinly layered, with a deliciously spiced masala filling that left me craving more. However, it was clear that they were short-staffed, which could have impacted the service. But kudos to the server, who was incredibly fast and sweet despite the challenges. Overall, this restaurant is a must-visit for South Indian food enthusiasts. Authentic, delicious, and expertly prepared - can't wait to come back!

Chola is a little hidden gem in Scarborough! Have eaten here many times and the lovely girl who serves is very friendly and polite. However, as she is often alone, the service can be slow at times, but the food is worth it! Yesterday, I shared the Onion Pakoras to start and enjoyed the Murgh Tikka Masala with rice & Garlic Naan for my meal. Absolutely delish! The restaurant is also newly renovated with new tables & chairs and is much brighter and open.

Good experience overall. Food was great specially my Chola Batoora 😀. Went here for my wife’s birthday dinner, can’t complain to be honest. Enough parking in the front. Small and comfy place to dine I would say.

This is such a random find for us on a sunny day. We went there during lunch time on the weekend and it was fairly busy, given only one table was available. We were greeted and seated, and our order was taken pretty quickly. We had Madras coffee, medu wada, chole bhature and got Cut mirchi pakoda to take out. It was probably one of the best tasting and fresh medu wada that we ever had in the GTA,the bhature was so good, with a slightly sour and spongy texture as it should be accompanied by a good quantity of tangy and not so spicy chole. The flavors were balanced to perfection, and every dish was freshly made. We requested our coffee with less sugar, and they made it perfect for our taste. We had the Cut mirchi for take out, and even after a couple of hours they were crunchy and tasty. The servers were attentive, friendly and quick in service and asked for our feedback every time they got our orders to the table. We were so impressed with everything, we will come back again and again. We came here for lunch again and I have to say that the food and service both got even better. This time we tried the samosa chat and Mysore masala dosa too. Delicious food and quick service.
