Very impressed with the quality and variety of dishes offered at this restaurant! Down to earth, hearty, authentic Cantonese comfort food, feels like grandma’s kitchen. Staff were very friendly too, we came within 1 hour of closing, and didn’t feel rushed to pick our items. One thing to note, the restaurant only takes cash, which is not unusual among small businesses, but you can email money transfer to the restaurant if you don’t carry cash, that’s what we did. Highly recommend! This small business is way better than Congee Queen!

Went here for dinner for the first time despite being around the area quite often. We usually just went to Chiu Chow Man but decided to switch it up today and it was quite a pleasant surprise. They also have a huge selection of food and everything was VERY good. The only one we were less than impressed with was the Dungeness crab, which was available on special. It was decently made I think but only tasted ok. Really loved the shrimp, the beef offals, brisket stew, and even the veggies. The servers really pressure you to order quickly so don't come here if you're just going to sit around and talk for extended periods of time but it didn't bother us too much. We would definitely come back again.

Chi's Congee & Noodle House is located in the large Chinese mall with numerous Chinese restaurants. Having tried all the Chinese restaurants in the mall, I can confidently say that Chi's Congee & Noodle House stands out as the absolute best, not only for their Congee but also for their other dishes. The prices are lower compared to other restaurants and the taste is truly outstanding! I'm such a fan of their food that I visit Chi's Congee & Noodle House 1-3 times a week—my love for their dishes is evident. While I haven't had the chance to try everything on the menu yet, it's definitely on my list. Some of my favorites so far include the 72A fried rice with two kinds of sauce on top, the shrimp or beef with scrambled egg and rice, seafood rice noodle, seafood Congee, and chicken and mushroom Congee. Each visit is a delightful culinary experience! The staff is great, too.

Food was great! Loved the curry rice and there's lots of options to choose from. The service is pretty bad however. A select few staff are very forceful especially during rush hour, where they make you share tables to with other parties. They will try to upsell you and make you buy more food. The parking is usually limited and the food prices are above average. The tea is pretty good here. Finally, it's important to note that they only take cash here which is very odd in my opinion.

four kinds of dish just for $50 something. I think this is already a good deal and food taste good. First time to try the crispy oyster, oh man I love it. I’m glad my friend brought me here. And will certainly go back soon.. To try their other dish. And we had a 2lb crab to go just for $38. Not sure until when the crab is on sale.

***Update July 2024 *** *** BEWARE - TakeOut Portions are a Rip OFF !!! *** I have been here over 20 years. And I don’t like to gripe or complain because the food is consistently good and the service is helpful. But today …. I am shocked 😳 about their take out portions. I have to ask you… is this worth $70.00??? Otherwise I can go next door to Star Chinese Restaurant!!! I will NOT return here again because I can spend my money 💵 for better value elsewhere!!! Look at the last few pictures with the curry chicken dish...is there any chicken in there? And the friend beef noodles...it looks like someone already ate a portion of it at the restaurant and then packed it up for me !!! Very disappointed!!! It feels like you were robbed of your money … it really feels terrible. I should have ordered McDonald’s, at least their portions vs. Cost is consistent. You can decide for yourselves … Peace ✌️ and pissed off 😤 Avoid if possible.....they are busy and their portions reflect that. ================================================== This location has been here for over 20 years. I still remember its predecessor which was a classic Taiwanese dessert hang out place where you can read comics, books and play board games from their selection on the rack. And they served amazing crushed ice desserts. Okay back to the present. Chi's has never disappointed me, my friends or family. The food has always been exceptional. From their selection of congee, fried noodles, dinner a la carte etc. ================================== It is good to see that the wait staff is still the same as well. I find the food to be better than say a Congee Queen. So I tend to come here when I have a craving for classic HK/Cantonese congee , fried noodles and rice etc. A+ experience for me all the way.
