I came to this restaurant after reading reviews and was convinced that this is one of those TRULY Halal where i could eat with peaceful mind. When i first got in i was amazed by the pictures that had Islamic sayings and Ayat Al kursi hanging on the walls, I ordered couple dishes, was so excited to have halal chinese food, until i noticed the soy sauce bottle that had a sticker on it, (as shown in picture) the sticker covered the ingredients, that seemed odd, i looked around to notice that all bottles had the same stickers covering the ingeridients, when i googled the soy sauce brand to my surprised it had Alcohol in it. I asked a waitress why do they have soy sauce with alcohol when the restraunt is allegedly "Halal" she said she doesnt know she'll go ask, then I asked if they have an alternative, a soy sauce without alcohol, she went to ask and came with the answered that "no we don't have any other brand" (the waitress was so sweet btw) i went to ask a men at the cashier stand he said "don't worry we refill using our own soy sauce everything is halal don't worry" ", which to be honest did not make any sense to me, especially when i looked around me and saw bottles that looked brand new not used more than once. I looked behind him at the counter there was no legit halal certificate, I ended up not eating my food (chicken dumplings) because I had doubts, and only had the shrimp rice (which was good to be fair). To be honest I was so dissapointed, I wouldn't come here again. And won't recommend it to my friends and family

Loved the dumplings, the lamb here is great. Definitely try the lamb skewers. Value for money! We ordered a soup, which was massive and serves 4 easily. Then we did lamb skewers, a plate of lamb dumplings and a chilli chicken with steamed rice.

I was once recommended to visit this place for good Halal Chinese food by a friend and never looked back. This has been our family’s go to spot for some comfort halal Chinese food. We always start with soups, hot and sour being the favorite. Skewers and ribs here are a must try. We have probably tasted most of the appetizers here and it’s safe to say almost everything tastes good everytime, except fried beef which was pretty much below average for my taste. The noodles are okay but the fried rice is always a winner here. The service is really good , the food comes in pretty quick and the portions are huge. Definitely recommend this place

I loved their Hot & sour soup 💯 Complete review on instagram : @iarzoosyed The food there is delicious, and the halal options are fantastic for those looking for Chinese cuisine prepared according to halal standards. It's definitely worth a try if you're in the area!

If you’re looking for an experience outside of the Hakka realm but still halal and caters to your taste buds, then look no further than the Chinese Halal Restaurant. The food here is delicious and service is absolutely stunning. The servers are extremely fast, listen to your every need and will bring the food out in record time, all while tasting hot, fresh and tasty. They have different size tables to serve either 1, 2, 5 or 10 people. My wife and I were hesitant about this spot as we’re so accustomed to Hakka food, but this is a different experience on its own and just as good if not better! You must try the steamed lamb dumplings, the lamb skewer, the hand pulled and spicy fried noodles as well as their fried rice. This is the ONLY spot where I was able to heat up the rice the following day without it being solid as a rock. They do add a 18% gratuity to your bill regardless of your party count, so do account for that as you do not need to tip. Honestly, they deserve the 18% because of how fast, attentive and great their customer service was. Overall, our experience was amazing and we’ll definitely be returning with a larger party. 10/10 would recommend! OH, don’t forget to buy their chilli oil if you are doing take out! The food taste so much better with it!

The food is okay, under my expectations. The lamb kebab is not fresh enough, and the rice crispy with tomato sauce is too sweet for me and my kids all. The cold dish beef is good, but very small portions. Overall the food quality is on average.

I've been a long time customer at this place. I realized the service has been going down. Food is still good but the way they serve dishes doesn't make sense. Who serves rices and noodles right at the end? What do you expect us to eat our gravy, chicken, beef, shrimp dishes with? Service wise - no one ever comes to check in on whether you are OK or need something else.

They serve authentic Chinese food, therefore i felt their target audience is not population trying Chinese food for fun. If you already have in your mind what exactly you would want to eat then that would be better. Even then the servers were kind enough to help us select from the menu. Great atmosphere and awesome service. Very much recommend.
