Chinatown take out service

Wow! I tried this place for the first time today and could not believe how spicy their hot and sour soup is! As a spicy food lover I loved it, but beware....this is not your standard hot and sour....I can see it being too spicy for many unexpecting customers. Lemon chicken was also very nice. I can't believe I hadn't discovered this place sooner!! From the comments I can tell it's been here forever....how long? 60 years? I'll definitely be back to try more foods....its also near work so I'll spread the word around the office!

This is a rather small restaurant however their food and service blows ma mind. I've been buying my lunch and dinners for almost 3yrs+ and they've never failed me yet. You want tasty Chinese food to eat with your family, this is the spot.

We just moved into the area and were looking to find our go-to Chinese food restaurant for one of our "Friday Fun Night" options. After looking into a few places and reading reviews, we selected China Town. We bought a lot of food (so there are leftovers through the weekend), and we were not disappointed. The portions were ample (almost coming out of the containers), and the flavors were great. A few of the reviews I had read mentioned the chicken balls. I haven't ordered chicken balls in ages because they had become so disappointing wherever I ordered from. But, I took a chance and ordered... and WOW! Was I happily surprised to find these balls were made with CHUNKS of chicken, not just little cubes of chicken tidbit coated in gobs of batter. It wasn't perfection, but I'm happy to give 5 stars overall. We will definitely be ordering from China Town again. A couple of tips: ask for chopsticks (ours hadn't been unpacked, and I had to use a fork because I forgot to ask for chopsticks), and they give a lot of sauce in the dishes. Next time, I may consider asking for less sauce or some of the dishes to have it on the side.

OMFG. Yes, I am pissed. Y'all, I visited this place recently because a friend suggested. I decided to buy the seafood rice and some other stuff. The seafood rice is supposed to come with scallop, big shrimp, mussel, squid, clam and crab meat. Insert fun fact: I am a personal chef 😉 Paid 13.00 for the rice alone. Got home opened up the "large" order and was instantly DISGUSTED. Do you know these people placed 5 shrimps, 2 BABY SCALLOPS, ONE HALF CUT UP MUSSEL, 2 PIECES OF TASTELESS SQUID AND THESE LIL WEIRD LOOKING CLAM PIECES IN A DISH OF RICE? I just could not believe it!!!! So China Town, what did I pay you 13.00 for? Listen, doing these types of things will only hurt your business, because I am never coming back and I am.also blasting you guys on IG! You should have seen the rice dish they gave me! Had I had opened it up in that shop, I would have slid it right back and asked for a refund asap! Cutting corners will not make you all rich, leaving a BAD TASTE in a new customers mouth is bad for business cause I would never trust you again. SHAME ON YOU. Charging 13.00 for oily rice and scraps calling itSEAFOOD RICE! YOU DAMN WELL KNOW WHAT YOU SERVED ME. And YES I still have my receipt 🗣🗣🗣 #Disgusted #ChinaTown1790JaneStreet

Been coming here for more than 20years and the food is always on point. Price is more than fair too. Haven’t gone up that much. Flavours haven’t changed and tastes nostalgic every time! Service is quick and good. Typical of any Chinese take out. Highly recommended.

Food was delicious, vegetables were on the blanched side which I didn’t mind since I usually eat on the healthier side. Once I added some soy sauce to it , it was perfect ! Everything was fresh . Sweet & sour spareribs was also delicious . This was my first time eating from here and I got it order on Uber eats . I don’t live close to the place and the food still came hot and fresh. I will be defiantly trying this place again

This is going to sound cliche but they have the best chicken balls you'll ever eat and their wings are amazing as well. Big pieces of chicken breast inside the batter is crispy and not doughy super delicious
