I must say, it was a huge disappointment. The food was far from authentic and lacked flavor—everything tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp As for the customer service, it was equally poor. The staff seemed disinterested and borderline rude. When we asked for recommendations, the waiter rolled his eyes and mumbled something inaudible. We waited almost 40 minutes for our food, even though the restaurant was nearly empty. The prices were outrageous for the quality of food and service we received. Paying premium prices for what felt like reheated leftovers and unprofessional treatment is unacceptable. I won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Food is always good here. The wait staff and fraudulent practices is appalling. I went here before and I noticed the server enter an amount on top of the total, then asked for a tip which you cannot decline on the machine. This time I asked the girl for a receipt before paying. She refused my demand 3 times until I said I would not pay. Once I saw the receipt, I saw the 10% service charge, and then she demanded I pay her a tip (what?) and a 3% Credit Card fee. I declined and paid cash. I had to walk up to the server to get water after 10 mins into my dining experience. I had to ask for my receipt 20 feet away 3 times because she was too busy on the phone to attend to the ONLY Patrons in the PLACE! (what establishment does that?). If it wasn't for the food and my wifes nostalgia to Malton, I would never come here.

My dad used to work up at the airport for over 40 years, and he would rant and rave about this place, as he should. He’s since retired, and this is not the closest place to us so it’s been a while since he’s been, but we went yesterday and it’s still just as good as he remembers it. He used to go EVERY Friday for the lunch specials! We got the hot & sour soup, which he loved, and took the rest home, and googled the rest today. We both got our own plates of chilli chicken, however; one would probably suffice between two people (especially if you’re getting more dishes), the portions are GENEROUS!!! Of course, the flavour and taste was absolutely impeccable. Spice level was perfect!! The service as well was very pleasant and our waitress checked on us just enough to feel seen and remembered but not too much to feel watched, just the perfect amount! She even noticed me not eating the soup (personally just not for me, but my dad really does swear by it! Different strokes for different folks, really.) and offered to bring me something else I may enjoy- very thoughtful! China Garden, keep up the wonderful work!!!

Good food. Nice staff. Ambiance isn’t great as it is in dire need of new finishes and removing the film from the glass. Better at night when the lights are on inside. Outside strip mall could use a lot of work including a signage standard!

Went there on a week day for dinner. Generous portion sizes and the food was delicious. Had nothing to find fault with. The Manchurian we ordered was spicy for the kids ( we had asked for no spice) , we sent it back and it was duly replaced with a no spice version. Will come back again.
