We ordered the pork rice and chicken rice for takeout. The taste were okay but somehow there was extra protein in the cauliflower. I called and wanted an apology. However, while I was telling them they should have washed the vegetable thoroughly. The lady who answered the phone said, "it is very common thing we always eat bugs" YIKES.....I was then offered a dish of greens. No thanks, not with a bug in it.

Got the beef brisket on rice for about $12 cash and was very pleasantly surprised. I wasn't planning on dining here but I happened to be in the plaza and was looking for something to take home for dinner. The beef was very tender and the rice was a much higher quality than what I tend to expect from Chinese takeout places. It was almost like sushi rice. The best part was the sauce, thick and rich in beefy flavour with umami and sour notes. The vegetables were bright and fresh and the overall portion was excellent especially for the price.

Saturday lunch time and we came here to get some lunch.... it was very busy when we got here. I wanted the Shrimp Fried Rice but they said it would take over 30mins to cook? I think they wanted (pushed) the Bento box style meals so that they would make more money from them instead of frying my fried rice. Very disappointing as I can see at least 2-3 people in the kitchen so really no excuse not cook what I wanted. So instead of waiting 30mins I ordered the pork chop with steamed rice which everyone else was ordering and didn't have to wait. Prok chop is deep fried and was not dry and had good taste to it. My Bento box also came with Taiwanese cabbage and yu choy, boiled egg and deep fried tofu cubes. Everything tasted great. I have read some of the bad reviews about mean attitude from the staff, it's bad that staff here have a tendency to be on the rude/loud side.. it doesn't matter if you are chinese or not.

My favourite go to place for food when I’m alone. When other food courts have no one waiting this one always has a line, long or short. The food is great, especially .Ko.1, the house special, but I think the cashier can be a bit more friendly and approachable.

Great Taiwanese food and well priced. One of my favourite things to get here is the beef noodle soup. I wasn’t expecting much from this place considering it’s just a food court stall, but WOW did it ever satisfy me! The broth was very authentic tasting (bit oily but I didn’t mind), noodles were silky and had a great chew, and the meat was super tender. You can add the amount of hot peppers and pickled veggies to your liking. The best part was it was only $7.25! I mean.. what more can I ask?! 😍👍🏻

Authentic Taiwanese food. Must get No. 1 on the menu, pork chop on steam rice. Secret menu item is the Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken, just ask for it and it's usually sell out early. The spicy option with the pepper provides a nice kick. Cash only. Don't shy away if there's a line, because I never had to wait longer than a few minutes for my order.

This is one of the first place that has been around for at least a decade (although the owners has switched over the years). I will always remember this place as the first place my friends introduced me to Taiwanese food. You can never go wrong with eating here for a quick lunch/dinner. Prices has gone up over the years and back in the day, they offered a soup, not now that is extra. It is one of the busiest places in the entire food court but they can move through a line very fast, so don't let that scare you off. Food is on most days very good, and much better the earlier for deep fried stuff such as pork chop. *NOTE* the spicy sauce is really spicy if your into that kinda thing* I always like the side veggie dishes that comes in a variety, and always comes with an egg and also a side of tofu product of some kind. I like coming here to eat. Simple tasty food doesn't have to be served in a 3 star Michelin restaurant, although this is not one of those places. There are good quality food in a food court and this is one of the places. There is a reason why this is one of the most popular places with a line up in the food court while others don't have any at all. So Im sure alot of people will give it at least 4/5
