I was craving for some fried chicken while I was in Toronto and it’s pretty hard to find Halal fried chicken. ChickQueen was the best decision as their chicken is never frozen and 100% Halal. I loved their Spicy fried chicken. Must try!! Their tenders are bigger in size than any other and match up amazing with their signature sauce. Loved it !! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I got the spicy royal crunchy which was quite good and hot/fresh! The fries were ok, you could tell they had been sitting for awhile. I felt bad for the girl working. She was the only one on till and in the kitchen. So I stood around for a few minutes in the store before anyone came out, then the wait for the food was pretty long. Also the tables in the restaurant are incredibly wobbly. The food was fine, but I don’t think I would go again.

I recently visited ChickQueen on Queen St, and it was a delightful experience! The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, perfect for a casual meal. The star of the show is the fried chicken. I opted for the signature dish, and it was fantastic—crispy, perfectly seasoned, and juicy. The spicy sauce added just the right kick without overwhelming the flavor. The sides were impressive; the coleslaw was fresh, and the fries were crispy. Portion sizes were generous, making it great value for money. Service was friendly and efficient, enhancing the overall experience. If you’re a fan of chicken, ChickQueen is definitely worth a visit!

I like the way they fry the chicken right after you order it; that being said, you have to be a bit patient while waiting for your order in the store, but it is worth it when you bite the juicy and crispy, most importantly, freshly fried chicken pieces. Pawan is sweet and friendly, and they asked me if I liked the chicken before I left. It tastes delicious and will be back again

The food was extremely spicy over here. And the same sauce at other places are not that spicy. When asked from the counter attendant they refused to change the dish and we got a suggestion to spend more and buy something sweet. That’s the worst kind of customer service. Even the counter attendants are not present at the counters most of the time. Now editing the review as the company responded and the response is not appropriate. First of all in Canada customer service is the foremost consideration and most important part. Secondly as they mentioned that the name clarifies the spicy level then they should go and try other restaurants as well where there is hot sauce mentioned and check the spiciness level as compared to what they provided. This kind of extreme level of spices is present in Buffalo sauce in most restaurants. This is the worst kind of customer service. I would always suggest people not to come to this place.

Was really disappointed - got the mild tenders, the breading was wet - not fried long enough, and the cashier told me that’s how it’s supposed to be? I showed them how it just disintegrated in my fingers and slimed off the chicken. I feel like they’ve never seen proper fried chicken… I told them I was disappointed and they didn’t offer any apology or understanding. Just “no, that’s what it’s supposed to be” FYI the picture - I don’t normally want to leave negative reviews, so I wasn’t thinking of that, and just ate it because what else am I going to do when the cashier doesn’t care, so just figured might as well take a picture of the colourless, wet breading.
