I'm writing because I don't want to eat it again. Listen carefully. Seasoning is important for all foods. Potatoes are bland, gravy is bland, coleslaw is bland. Chicken is bland. 1. Soak the potatoes for French fries in salt water for more than 40 minutes, dry them, and freeze them. If you're going to use the finished product, taste it before using. 2. Do you want to increase your customers without going bankrupt? Spend a little more time on the ingredients and adjust the seasoning. Posted by a chef with 30 years of experience.

Customer service is good. Crew is very polite and kind. My first time to order, I want to try their food but the chicken is too salty. The fries taste not fresh. Hope you'll treat my review constructively.

I literally waited 45 minutes because they said they had to make white meat, after the fact that I even pre ordered over the phone. This place went to complete garbage since it's been new owners. Don't bother going to this location, unless you have nothing but time.

Hands down you will not get better friend chicken with that old school taste than here. I've been eating chick n joy since their original location in the early 90's and they flavour has remained consistent ever since. Their macaroni salad is by far the best from any other fried chicken place. Chick n joy taste like what you wish kfc taste like lol If you try Chick n Joy I promise you will never want any other fried chicken around. Always fresh and staff are great. And let's not forget the gravy, amazing!

A coworker recommended this place so I decided to give it a try. The chicken was alright, a better version of KFC. The fries would have been nice, they’re like the fries at Swiss Chalet, but they were a bit overcooked and had absolutely no seasoning, it was only saved by the gravy. For whatever reason, employees never bothered to call my order when it was ready, and only remembered me when one person came out and saw me waiting off to the side of the counter. It’s not far from my workplace, but have no reason to be back for a second visit.

I love chicken joints but there's something missing with the whole experience. Chicken was pretty basic but the gravy made it better. Their biscuit is was awesome, and the fries were ok. Both biscuit and chicken were on the salty side.

It always gives me pleasure to visit this great fried chicken joint and eat some succulent chicken. I went to their Morningside joint regularly when i lived in Scarborough. I live in North York now so i was quite happy to find out that they have a joint here as well. It is located on York Mills Road and TTC bus no 95 has a stop 2 mins from the store. There are many shops in the same plaza. I bought Chicken,Coleslaw,Fries and Gravy and everything tasted really good.I must say that their stuff is better than Popeye and much better than KFC.
