Chicken in the Kitchen

Been coming here for years. Great atmosphere, not too big or too small, with indoor and heated patio options. Can be pretty busy at night. Food quality has always been consistent, although the chicken seems to be a tad more dry over the years.

If I can rate this ZERO i would. Our last time being here was very disappointing, went here with our niece who is 4 years old and sleeping. The manager was very inconsiderate knowing we have a sleeping baby. One of the server sit us in an empty seat and took our order, we are a party of 8 including the sleeping baby. They told us they need to put us on the waiting list since we cannot fit in the table, and the MANAGER told us we cannot sit in there anymore. It was breezing cold outside and There was a lot of empty tables. It could fit more than 20 people so i don't understand why he still needs to send us out until there is a table available for us. He even told us 15% gratuity is a must to a party of 8, they count the baby who they did not consider when they told us they cannot let us stay in the table. The food is good tho, we usually go here when we want to have some good chicken. Its just the service. The service is very very very bad. Dont recommend this restaurant to people who have baby, or sleeping toddler, this place is not family friendly with their rude manager. Garbage is around the place no wonder if theres cockroaches in the restaurant.

Solid 3 stars. Fried chicken is a little dry and over cooked. Price is reasonable but there are better choice. Location is convenience and it gets busy after dinner time.

I ordered for pickup and the sweet n spicy fried chicken was very dry and almost like burnt. The chicken felt very stale and hard. It was hard to chew and didn’t have much meat… it seemed like they re-fried old chicken. It was like beef jerky. Plus there was almost no sauce with the chicken. It was barely edible so we had to throw it out in the garbage. I just wasted my money. And the restaurant barely had customers during the time we picked up the chicken so it couldn’t be because the kitchen was busy. Very disappointing and unacceptable. This is not the first time this has happened.

Went here a few times and I always enjoy their food. Definitely gets super busy and sometimes the staff are too busy when you're trying to get the bill. Overall, not a bad place to hang out with friends. Chicken is crispy but does get a bit dry.

During lunchtime, I visited and ordered the golden fried chicken, waiting for about 15 minutes. The cheese on the fried chicken was cold and didn't have much cheese flavor. The fried chicken didn't taste fresh; it felt like it was frozen chicken or re-fried. Even the fried potatoes weren't good. In the end, I didn't finish my meal and didn't take it to go because it was not tasty.

Food was pretty good. Portions are decent. Location is convenient, right at Yonge and Finch. The service was good. Price is average for this type of restaurant. I'd recommend the original fried chicken. I am not a fan of the cheese used on the Golden Fried. The sampler is pretty big so definitely good to share.

Perfect spot for great food, cheap drinks and a really fun and lively atmosphere. The staff are amazing; very friendly and accommodating. The vibe on weekends is young and fun! The fried chicken is not to be underestimated, especially the Korean Spicy Thai. This really is a great spot for any day of the week. We've become regulars.
