Would rate as a solid 4.5 stars Hip and trendy tapas place. Love the clay shale walls. Came on a Sunday evening - when they have their 777 happy hour and their paella day. The food was great. We tried many dishes. Favourites included the croquettes, the scallop crudo, batatas bravas, and that delicious chocolate torta for dessert. The dates wrapped in ham was delightfully fun. I would say their dishes are more on the creative and eclectic end of typical Spanish tapas - and it’s well executed. The sauces and the ingredient choices blend very well together and make for interesting mouthfeels and flavours. The steak tartare was a good dish too but I felt the oil and the sourdough actually overpowered the steak flavour … we liked the paella - the shrimps were a fantastic highlight bursting with flavour and bouncy in texture. But the rice itself we felt lacked a bit of depth of seafood flavour (this is comparing to paellas had in Spain where shellfish and fish livers make up the broth that’s soaked into the rice) Service was quick and attentive, with many spot on recommendations. The music can be a bit too loud sometimes - but they were playing some great jams. This is certainly a fun place to catch up with friends or to go on a date night. Price point - it is tapas so small sharing plates, mid teens to low thirties (for bigger dishes) in price per plate. The 777 definitely helped cut the cost down. So I’d add good for special occasions but may hurt the wallet if going too often!

The Best croquettes I've ever had. Considered ordering extra to take home. Happened to be there on a Sunday which is their paella day so we had that and it was fabulous. No complaints, would love to return

$55 for all you can eat brunch worth it.. Their food may seem small since it’s a tapas but you will be surprised you feel full.. And you will be coming back food really taste good. Service was excellent! And I will be coming back for sure.

Chica is one of my favourite places to visit for a drink or a bite, the service is exceptional and I think more than the food which is brilliant it’s also the service that makes me come back each time. I have also had amazing cocktails from their menu and off it, and will definitely recommend that path if you are someone like me who doesn’t really enjoy anything sweet in a cocktail. While a love a lot of things of their menu the croquettes are my favourite.

We dined at Chica to celebrate our anniversary. The place had a lovely atmosphere, and the food was delicious. Everything we ordered had a unique taste and was made with great attention to detail. We enjoyed the ambiance and hospitality. The short ribs were the highlight, and the Mucho Gusto drink was exceptional. To celebrate your special day, Chica will provide you with a memorable experience. I wanted to give 5 stars, but I'm giving 4 stars because of an issue we encountered. As soon as we entered and were seated, the waitress gave us a wine, wishing us a happy anniversary. Although we didn't order it, we went along with our dinner celebration. However, when we received the bill, we saw that the wine was listed as a promotional drink and charged at $18. This was not something we ordered; it was given to us. It bothered us to see it on the bill, but we didn't want to disrupt the vibe of our celebration, so we just tipped her 18% and left. It bothered me that the wine was billed without informing us, or it should have been offered with a note that it would be charged.
