Came here for an early dinner and this place was beyond our expectations! To start, the dishes were beautifully arranged, very cute and creative. Calamari was crispy and delicious, the cashew chicken and chicken pad thai were so flavourful and cooked perfectly. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Interior is clean, although the floor is a little slippery so do be careful if not wearing non-slips. Definitely coming back to try their other menu items!

I came in hungry, left in love...with the food. Let me just say, the Pad Thai here isn’t just a meal; it’s a hug for your taste buds. Seriously, who knew noodles could spark this much joy? The decor is chic, but not so chic that you feel like you need to whisper while chewing. The staff? A+ for their patience, especially when I had a minor existential crisis deciding between the Green Curry and Red (Spoiler: I got both because life’s too short to make hard choices at a Thai restaurant.) Pro tip: Don’t skip the mango sticky rice for dessert. It’s like a sweet lullaby after a spicy tango. All in all, this place didn’t just feed me; it nourished my soul—and gave me enough leftovers to keep my fridge happy too. Can’t wait to come back and “research” the rest of the menu. After a relaxing head massage, my wife brought me to Chiang Rai Thai Kitchen and Bar in Markham, and it was a fantastic choice. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm and attentive, making us feel truly welcome. The food was outstanding, with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors in every dish. We tried a few different items, each beautifully presented and packed with bold Thai flavors that didn’t disappoint. Prices were very reasonable for the quality, making it easy to enjoy a great meal without breaking the bank. Overall, a wonderful dining experience we’re already looking forward to repeating!

Chiang Rai Thai Kitchen is seriously my favorite spot for Thai food! If you’re craving something authentic and full of flavor, this place needs to be on your list. The vibe is super cozy and relaxed, so it’s perfect for a low-key lunch or a chill dinner with friends. My go-to is the Famous Pad Thai, and it totally lives up to its name. The noodles are cooked perfectly, and the sauce is that sweet-savory balance with a little tang—exactly what Pad Thai should be. They finish it off with crushed peanuts and a squeeze of lime, which just takes it to another level. I usually get it with chicken, but they’ve got other options if you want to switch it up. Funny enough, my boyfriend used to think authentic Thai food was basically Thai Express, but after coming here, he’s completely converted and won’t touch it now. Safe to say Chiang Rai changed the game for him! The staff is super friendly, and they really know their stuff. They’re great at helping you pick something new if you’re up for it, and it’s just one of those places where you feel welcome every time. Brings me straight back to Thailand. Absolutely delicious Pad Thai. I could this every day honestly. Aside from the fact that the food was delicious the decor and atmosphere was just like back in Bangkok. Staff was super attentive and very nice too! Portion was so big I had to get a take home container. For the shrimp pad Thai it came out to $26 - a steal for quality, quantity, and service.

We were craving Thai food and Chang Rai Thai Kitchen and Bar nailed it for us. Food was amazing! Pineapple Fried Rice with chicken was one of the best pineapple fried rice we have had. It had fresh juicy big pineapple chunks with aromatic rice and umami depth. The chicken was tender and flavourful. The overall presentation was good. Famous Pad Thai with chicken was just a perfectly made Pad Thai that was delicious. Although the chicken portions on the Pad Thai were on the small side. Thai Calamari was good and tender but could be a bit more crispy. Thai Green Mango Salad was okay. The mango was fresh but the texture was more on the fibrous side which was a bit off putting for a mango salad. Wish the mango was more sweeter. Thai Ice Tea was awesome. Great combo of sweet Thai tea.

Came for a birthday and the food was amazing, the portion sizes are huge! It was great for sharing dishes and we left with plenty leftover for another meal. Lots of value for what you get! Service was awesome and the Thai Iced Tea was to die for! Will definitely be returning with more people for sharing. Favourite dish was the pineapple fried rice with beef!

Finally had the chance to check this place out and had an amazing experience. The place and decor was hip and had cool vibes with a mix of different age patrons. Went there with my in laws and family. Staff were super friendly and accommodating especially with my 1 year old son. The presentation of food and drink were beautiful and the taste was delicious even my hard to please in laws thought the food was beautifully presented. Place gets super busy with take out and eat in so making reservations is recommended and place is not too big.
