I stopped by for lunch around 1:30 p.m. The place was empty and I was served right away. I ordered a chicken saj wrap. It was 12.99. Overall it was good, not great, not terrible. I found the chicken a little bit bland and the garlic sauce wasn't very 'garlic-ey'. But it was a decent portion, all the veggies were fresh. In terms of atmosphere the inside is definitely due for a refresh. Overall it was mostly clean, the floor was a bit dirty likely from the lunch rush, it just looked very stale.

Our experience at Chef’s Door was really good. We ordered the beef kofta with Saj which was incredible, crispy saj with amazing beef kofta, which melted in my mouth. My husband got the chicken shawarma and was very happy with his order. Mohammed from Palestine was very helpful and also offered us some soup as we waited for our order. The staff was very welcoming and made our simple weekday dinner a great experience. Thank you!!

The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They were happy to recommend dishes and answer any questions I had. Chef's Door is a shawarma franchise with several locations, but I tried the one at 3rd line and Dundas. There was ample parking, I was greeted with a warm welcome upon arrival, the food was very fresh and it was prepared very quickly, which was appreciated because I was in a rush. I ordered the chicken shawarma on fries, which is my go-to meal at shawarma joints. The fries were crinkle-cut, which was a pleasant surprise compared to competitors who typically offer straight-cut fries. The fries were golden brown and deep fried to perfection, but were akin to generic McCain's frozen fries. The chicken shawarma meat was juicy, sliced well and had a bit more black pepper than I'm used to for shawarma meat. It still was very delicious! I love garlic and hot sauce, so I ordered both on top of the delicious shawarma meat. Although the food was substantial and tasty, the garlic sauce was a bit too watery for my liking and tasted more like sour cream than an authentic garlic sauce that has garlic as the primary ingredient. The hot sauce had a nice heat level but there was more burn than flavour. For some people, this might be the best shawarma on fries that they've ever had. However, I've tried several different variations to this dish and I personally prefer a garlic sauce with more kick and a hot sauce with more flavour. Again, this is my personal preference for a stronger garlic taste and a more full-bodied hot sauce to excite my tastebuds. All that being said, Chef's Door at this location was great and the food in my books is a solid 4-stars. The falafel on the counter looked incredibly appetizing and I will likely go back to try that next time.

We visited here for a Friday dinner. And this is one of the best place. We ordered chefs mixed grill and it came with delicious pita (chef mohammad made the pita, unbelievable yum), skewer and potatos, salad, hummus. The quantity is very good. And the food was freshly made and served. Such a positive experience!!!
