Our work Christmas party at Cheers was absolutely fantastic! We had the private room booked, and it was the perfect setting for a our celebration - the atmosphere was very warm and inviting. The service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and professional. The staff made sure everything ran smoothly and were always on hand to assist with anything we needed. The buffet-style meal was a standout feature! The variety of dishes catered to all tastes, and every item was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. It was clear that a lot of care went into preparing the food, and our team couldn’t stop raving about it. I can’t recommend Cheers enough for any group event or special occasion. It was a flawless experience, and we’ll be talking about it for years to come!

*Edit to respond... we paid in full... we even tipped the waitress. Maybe next time we will go to McDonalds. We are two non-confrontational shy people who did not complain. But thanks for the response. We FOR SURE will not be back. I am absolutely floored! I loved cheers. But our visit today was highly disappointing, the food was warm at best. Portions were sad and the fries hardly cooked. The Reno’s make it look a lot brighter and bigger… but the food took a dive. I said I should have got the fish and chips, then the people behind us were complaining as well… I probably won’t go back. :(

I believe Cheers has been a staple in Welland for many years but this was my first time trying and it did not disappoint! The food was great, service was friendly and the atmosphere was what you would expect from a friendly neighborhood bar. Warm and welcoming!

I recently visited Cheers and had an incredible experience! We ordered both the chicken and pork pita, and they were absolutely delicious. The meat was perfectly seasoned and cooked, and the pita bread was grilled perfectly. The flavors were authentic, and you could tell the ingredients were top quality. The portion sizes were generous, and the service Amy was friendly and attentive, and the new owner Bobby and his wife were there to say hi to us. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of the menu. Highly recommend for anyone craving great Greek food!

Ordered take-out. Food was ready on time and hot, freshly made. Friendly staff. Had cheers burger with fries and beef dunk with onion rings. All was tastey. Gravy had good flavour. Personal preference would be thinner gravy. Picture shows each sandwich cut for sharing. Not huge but plenty for our dinner. Very reasonable prices.
