Fantastic spot for late night eats as it's opened until 2am. Skewers are well done with great flavour. I'm a huge fan of lamb but the okra was a pleasant surprise. All in all, would recommend. Make sure to ask for mild if you do not like a lot of heat.

Great service and attention to detail by the staff. Asked not only about allergies, but heat tolerance and confirmed the order selection before food even came out. Every bite of food fragrant and flavourful. Highly recommend adding the "spice powder" on the side of each dish. It's very mild and mostly peanuts, sesame and cumin. Recommend dishes: Lotus Root, Cabbage, Eggplant, Pork Knuckles, Pork Belly, & Oysters.

Chat Bar is a hidden gem! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, perfect for catching up with friends or enjoying a relaxed evening out. The drink menu is fantastic, offering a wide variety of creative cocktails and local beers. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure you have a great experience from start to finish. I loved the laid-back vibe and the delicious small bites that pair perfectly with the drinks. Food is good ! Personally I don’t like the taste of cumin, most of the Chinese bbq use a lot of them everything tasted the same. But here they use it just right in the food. Service is great I must say. Atmosphere is nice but if the music tune down a bit will be better is hard to talk and listen to others.

Great food, incredible customer service, and a comfortable atmosphere to boot. We ordered a variety of items (some pictures are missing unfortunately because we couldn't wait to dig in!): beef, lamb, pork belly, chicken cartilage and squid tentacle skewers, grilled eel, scallops, half order of the oysters, and grilled mushrooms and eggplant. Our servers, Dana and Alan, were incredibly attentive and helpful. Overall, we had a great time and can't wait to come back to try other things on the menu!

I enjoy going to @chatbarto, especially the location on Main Street Unionville. It's just got this vibe and easily our default for a late night date night. I also find myself craving their skewers pretty often but after about 5 of them, all the meats start to taste the same 😂. But hey, I'll still devour them all!! The MVP here for me is their grilled eggplant. I must get that every time. It's so flavourful and garlicky. If you're anti-garlic breath or on a date then you should probably avoid ordering this. Visited early evening on a Friday so was easily able to obtain a table. I went for the chicken skewers and the pork belly. Both were good, the pork belly a bit like thick bacon, yet, I had no complaints as the prices were very reasonable. There is a good choice on the menu and I was served quickly. The staff were friendly and efficient. The restaurant accepts cash or debit cards. The decor was interesting and the facilities were well maintained.

Small little restaurant by the side of the road. The ceilings are not for tall people. But the food is absolutely delicious. It'll take you right to the streets of Korea! Great service! I was asked how they could better their service, which is a great sign.
