Chat Bar 九号小院 - Chinese BBQ Skewers Restaurant

This Chinese BBQ skewers place is absolutely fantastic! The skewers are full of flavor, perfectly seasoned, and grilled to perfection. I tried a variety, from tender lamb to juicy chicken and crispy vegetables, and every bite was delicious. The smoky char from the grill combined with the spices gave each skewer a perfect balance of heat and richness. The casual, lively atmosphere added to the fun, and the service was quick and friendly. Great experience! My friend discovered this spot, and all four of us loved it. The lamb skewers and baked garlic clams were especially delicious. We just wish the clam portions were a bit larger. The staff was friendly, and the Tsingtao beer paired perfectly with the food, though we'd love to see draft beer added to the menu. We'll definitely be back!

Fun place to eat all sorts of grilled skewers. I saw the downtown location and wanted to try it. When I saw one close to where we were staying we went in! No regrets at all. The meats were my favs! Maybe one or 2 dishes could be slightly better but you can’t win em all.

I really love the skewers here. I always go back with friends and family. Most of their dishes taste similar so my mom gets sick of it by the end of it but it does really taste good. I recommend the baked oysters and clams! Also my favourite are lamb skewers and bean curd with beef tendons!

Service and environment was amazing! The server was so kind, attentive and straight to the point with everything. The food were all very good and quick to arrive at table. Overall a very good positive experience, will be returning!

I am happy to have found a place that still serves delicious food so late at night. I am sure the food would have been evem better if I was at the bar or if I was drinking something with the food. The food itself was amazing and has great flavours. There is a nice hint of spiciness that adds onto the flavours instead of overwhelming all the others. The texture was also great, especially the premium beef. I do feel like it is a bit expensive though, around 10$ for each order. Of course, the tastier ones that are higher quality have only 2 skewers and the others have around 3 to 4 skewers. If you can see past the price though, you can enjoy wonderful food.

I had a wonderful experience at Chat Bar! My friends and I tried several dishes, including the Grill and Spicy Beef on Rice, and all were absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich and authentic, and the portion sizes were generous.The staff at Chat Bar were incredibly polite and well-behaved. They made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in and provided exceptional service throughout our meal. I would highly recommend Chat Bar to anyone looking for delicious food and excellent service.
