Chandni Chowk Restaurant

They are not supposed to charge GST on food during Christmas time but they charged it anyway. That's my complaint. It made the experience bad.

Definitely not the most 5star hotel to eat at, but this is the best Tandoori Chicken Tikka I ate in Toronto. It’s cheap and has great food. Best bang for your buck.

Went here for my first night in Toronto, and I was positively surprised by the food, the food was really good and the portions were huge. The atmosphere is something to work on haha but for a fast food it’s really good. If you’re looking for a quite cheap place to eat and don’t have the time to search, go for it.

The place looks very basic - we almost changed our minds, but are glad we didn’t. The food was delicious. Our three and five year olds polished off the butter chicken, devoured the naan and ate every bit of pappadum. The service was friendly and helpful, and the price was incredible for what we got. The place was busy so it’s clear everyone knows it’s good. We will be back!

This place gave a literal Indian Vibe! A lot needed for someone who's been staying here in Canada for a long time. The ambience, the streets simply have resemblance to the Indian streets (specifically Abids, Hyderabad or perhaps Park Street, Kolkata). Food was amazing and scrumptious! We had mutton sheekh kebab, fried fish, mutton and chicken biryani. All items were decent and great. It has also the much celebrated Hyderabadi dessert; "Double Ka Meetha", although I didn't try it because I was already full until the main course. But, I'm sure it's great as it is being made by a Hyderabadi Chef (old aged uncle hailing from Malakpet, a really decent and hospitable man) and in addition to that the appearance was appealing.

We randomly get into this halal restaurant. The environment isn’t that fancy but i have to admit the food is really good. We ordered a meat thali, Bihari kebab and haleem along with mango milkshake. Every items were good in terms of taste and freshly cooked. We really enjoyed their food. They have a prayer space in their basement and also washroom available.

Loved their Hyderabadi Chicken & Lamb Biryani! Tasted just like back home and super reasonable price at 10$ for chicken, 15$ for Lamb. Tried their Haleem as well, was good. The staff was super friendly as well.

Great food with very reasonable prices. I have visited this restaurant quite a few times and was never disappointed. Their biryani aroma brings back the nostalgic memories of classic Hyderabad old city style restaurants. Beside the great taste, loved the hospitality and quick service. Would love to see little more effort in maintaining the cleanliness n hygiene
