Absolutely unacceptable experience. We ordered food from this restaurant on Christmas Eve (ordered early at 4:40 pm), only to wait two hours with no communication. When we finally got thru to check on our order, they admitted they completely forgot about it and told us we’d have to wait ANOTHER HOUR if we still wanted it. Not a single apology was offered—nothing to acknowledge how unprofessional this was. And if that wasn’t bad enough, the person on the phone hung up on me mid-conversation. This was supposed to be a special meal for a holiday, and instead, we were treated with total disregard and rudeness. If you can’t handle holiday orders, don’t take them in the first place. We felt disrespected and were left hungry for hours. Will never order from here again.

I usually love the spicy veggie eggplant, but this time, I was very disappointed! They added plenty of veggie oil to the dish to make it look like there's a lot of sauce, which changed the whole taste! Disgusting

A friend of mine has just started a project in this area, and we found out this little Chinese restaurant decorated with lanterns. The waitress recommended the crispy ginger beef and chicken wonton noodles soup with porks which we enjoyed it very much , during our meals the service was excellent!

Classic Canadian Chinese joint - don’t expect traditional Chinese food. Crispy ginger beef and bbq pork fried rice are delicious, but prices run a little high for the quantity. Definitely feels more like a take-out joint.

Egg rolls INEDIBLE. Ginger beef and Thai fried rice AWESOME. Egg roll filling alone knocks my rating from 3.5 down to 2. Outside was crunchy and okay but inside was an abomination. It was a chewy, gluey glob of rehydrated sprout disaster. Lady over the phone was apologetic enough but never offered a refund for the two glob rolls @ $6. Taking a break for a good while out of spite but the ginger beef will bring me back eventually.

The food here is exceptional—authentic, flavorful, and some of the best I've had in Toronto. However, the service completely overshadowed what could have been a 5-star experience. On two separate occasions, I was confronted about not leaving a tip. I'm from the UK, where gratuity is typically included in the bill, so I'm not accustomed to tipping, especially at the prices charged here. During my second visit, a waitress stopped me before leaving and pressured me about not tipping, claiming it was the second time I had done so, even going so far as to say, "You seemed like a nice guy, but not after this behavior". Her tone was accusatory and unprofessional, making me feel incredibly uncomfortable. I'm sorry, but I’m not tipping for simply bringing me a drink. If the tips were going to the kitchen staff—the ones truly putting in the hard work—I would have gladly contributed. This attitude is unacceptable, and it’s a shame that such great food is ruined by poor service. I will not be returning.

Finally getting the time to go in person after ordering online for the last 4 years. It was worthy… really cozy. Food still amazing!!!!

Great spot in the area for well executed Chinese comfort food, with all the classic dishes. Definitely more expensive than most other Chinese takeout spots elsewhere in the GTA, but this is one of the few in midtown. Only miss for me was the fried calamari dish, which was a bit over cooked and rubbery.
