Nice place to go for drinks and food after work. They have gluten free menu. Staff is helpful and keep in mind any allergies you have. They made sure that the food is not contaminated. The food is tasty.

Good food, fair portions, friendly staff. The atmosphere is very nice, music not too loud, I particularly loved the hand-painted walls. We tried Peruvian Whole Chicken with Rice, Mushroom Birria Tacos (very good vegeterian option), Nachos, Peruvian Salad Bowl and Basque Cheesecake, all highly recommended.

Decided to check out this spot based on word of mouth and the cool decor. The vibe is authentic Mexico, all the staff were so nice. Big hit for me was the blackberry daiquiri. All the food we tried was good. Steak tartare was my favourite. Rigatoni was al dente. We had a great time. Even the bathrooms were really cute and very clean.

Everything about this place is amazing!! We were here for a girls night out and it was the perfect ambiance. The decoration, food, drinks are very Instagramable and might I add delicious, but it was the service that made the biggest difference. It was hands down the best service I’ve had in a while. Thank you so much to our waitress! One small note: the location on the map is wrong, it is located right across the street from where it is pinned on Google maps.

I decided to celebrate me my girlfriend’s anniversary at Ceci Bar and that was the best decision coz Ceci Bar is a great place to be if you wanna have a good time and Latin food. One thing I can say for sure is that Ceci Bar has the best fresh Guac and chips in Toronto. The Haddock tacos were amazing with perfectly cook Haddock. Awesome Yuca fries with good amount of seasoning. Mushroom Birria tacos were really good too. If you don’t have peanut or shellfish allergy then you must have Spicy Plancha Red Prawn. We had the delicious cheesecake with a personal touch to it. Also the drinks we got (Pina colada and Cadillac Margarita) were really great. All in all the best experience I have had in Toronto so far. Thank you team Ceci!!

The food was delicious. One of my friends who was with me said the guac we had was the best she's had in all of Toronto. Would highly recommend getting the nitrogen popcorn for a fun time! I also recommend the empanadas. The hot sauce it came with was perfect.

Hadn't heard of this place before and searched it up on a busy Saturday night. I got a reservation for 2 in 20 minutes and there weren't as many people as I thought. The atmosphere was nice and a very vibrant Latino air filled it. The service was great as I often had the server come back and ask if they could do anything else or bring anything else to assist us. The guacamole was delicious and the variety of chips/root vegetable chips was lovely. we had the salad with chicken and the rigatoni and they were a delightful surprise and good. The drinks were extremely good to taste and the espresso martini and lychee one were very very tasty. Overall a delightful surprise and I expect more people to visit here. P.S: It is located both on the side of the street but if Google maps directs you inside a large compound, go inside and follow the signage. It was a bit confusing to find at first.

The excitement to dine here is through the roof! Will update in time. Update: Our experience at the Ceci Bar is outstanding. Visited the restaurant for dinner the day after grand opening, and it looks like the place is vamping up for the upcoming weekend. Staffs are attentive and pleasant to diners. Our server Olivia is pleasant and responsive at providing suggestions on menu items. We could tell every dish ordered is cooked with attention and precision, that have made all the differences. Beef empanadas are flaky on the outside, meaning the oven temperature has been attentively controlled. Freshness in the guacamole and warm baked chips together are the perfect pairing to me that evening. Didn’t take a bite on the Mahi-mahi ceviche, but heard it has a tropical energy from the fruitiness and a slice of pineapple at the bottom. Then the flatiron beef steak is at a state of perfection. At medium rare the meat is juicy, not tangy nor uncomfortably rare for me. Personally with this steak I prefer the provided green sauce, which has a slight heat to it. For the finale we chose the chocolate lava cake. The cake is almost at bitesize nevertheless, I’d still give it a point for the effort of combining a tint of heat spice into the cake/ lava/ ice cream. This venue is perfect for lunch, happy hour, dinner, weekend hangout, couples, friends, casual business dining, or small group gathering. The music playlist intends to bring in Latin atmosphere, but for tonight the tracks are hit or miss. Throughout the dinning time, the adjustable lights are dimmed so quickly that my eyes needed time to adjust. Highly recommend, and will revisit with friends. OB Insider.
