Casa Victoria Fine Dining and Banquet, located at Warden and Highway 7, is a dim sum spot that lives up to its reputation. We visited for lunch and were immediately struck by how packed it was, even on a weekday—clearly a testament to its popularity. Despite the crowd, the service was efficient and friendly, with the staff managing to keep up with the steady flow of customers without missing a beat. We ordered a variety of dishes, including classics like BBQ pork buns, har gow, and siu mai, as well as several others that you can see in the photo. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The BBQ pork buns were perfectly soft with a sweet, savory filling, while the har gow featured delicate, translucent wrappers encasing plump, juicy shrimp. The siu mai was generously portioned and full of flavor. On top of these, the sesame balls and other dumplings added variety to our meal and were equally delicious. The portions here are notably larger than most dim sum places, which made the experience feel even more satisfying. We also enjoyed pots of fragrant tea to accompany the meal, rounding out the classic dim sum experience. The balance of quality, flavor, and presentation made every dish memorable. The atmosphere was lively, with the bustling dining room adding to the charm. Casa Victoria has a luxurious feel to its decor, yet it maintains a warm and inviting vibe. While the restaurant is undeniably busy, the attentive service ensures that you’re never left waiting too long. I would definitely recommend Casa Victoria for anyone looking for delicious, authentic dim sum in Markham. It’s worth the wait and effort to snag a table—just be prepared for the crowds, which only add to the dynamic atmosphere of this fantastic dining spot!

Good food overall. Their pork Cha Sui was delicious. Their chicken with rice inside was unique and different, but wasn’t for me. Soup with fish was quite tasty and their greens were a bit on the older tasting side (not as fresh. Great aura and staff here.

There's definitely no wrong choice, but I will surely return for their abalone puff that's worth the price, along with their eye-catching shrimp rice rolls and char siu. The puff has a wonderfully flaky and buttery crust, that is filled with minced pork and topped with an abalone that bursts with umami in your mouth. The shrimp rice rolls are delicately thin, but contain the fresh, bouncy shrimp that's coated with an airy tempura batter and fried to perfection. The perfect amount of marbling of half lean and fatty pieces of this char siu means it partially melts in your mouth, as you savour the tender bite of the flesh and the sweet caramelized savoriness of the pork. I'd easily go for this plate of char siu over traditional Chinese BBQ spots.

I came to this restaurant for din sum on a long weekend Monday. The restaurant opens at 10am but customers were lining up to get in at 9:45am. We made a reservation so we got our table immediately. All the dim sums we ordered were hot and yummy. They refilled our tea pots multiple times. I like the ambiance. The chandeliers were pretty. When we were leaving around noon, there were a big crowd of people waiting for tables.

Today, braving some wet and nasty weather, myself and another long standing ex-Hong Kong chowhounder of 2+ decades, had a rare luncheon meet-up at this Markham culinary icon. This time, the company was way better than the food! Though amongst the top-tier Dim Sum Chinese restaurants in the GTA, the Dim Sum dishes we ordered today, though crafted fairly competently, leaned towards the disappointing side. The flavor profile lacking in the right and proper seasoning. Case-in-point, the overuse of ‘ Rose essence rice wine ‘ in the 'Har Gow shrimp dumpling' filling, which overwhelmed the supposedly delicate flavor profile. Both the 'Taro Croquettes' and their house special, famous 'Fried Squid tentacles in seasoned salt and pepper' were executed well but sadly the temperature was on the cool side when arrived at the table, impeding the true flavor….. a reflection of the prepared dishes having rested in the kitchen for a fairly long time. As expected, the passable BBQ pork rice-roll cheung-fun has a fairly thickish wrapper, a common sight and feature amongst 99% of GTA’s Dim Sum restaurants offering! For tea, I brought along some 10 years old Pu-Erh tea from Hong Kong's famous Luk-Yu tea house! Overall, though the food was on the disappointing side,, thanks to great company, the luncheon managed to turn out into a pretty enjoyable one!

Reservation doesn't really mean much because they're always super busy and packed. The Dim Sum is decent and not really too different from other ones, and a bit pricier than others as it's supposed to be a bit fancier. The place is less rowdy compared to the usual Chinese Dim Sum places though with nice interior decor. Overall, it's decent but not amazing.

Went here for dimsum. The service was so quick and professional. Tea was always topped off. Many classic dimsum dishes available with some unique offerings as well. The food was authentic and delicious. Portions were generous, especially the dumplings. The restaurant was clean and had an older Victorian vibe. I would come back again to try the other menu items.

Recently came here for a birthday dinner. The food was solid as I had anticipated. The service though had exceeded my expectations. Their manager’s, David, attention to detail was quite exceptional even amongst the finer Chinese restaurants. A couple of other servers who were assisting us were also very professional. My top three dishes that night were the stuffed duck, chicken and braised beef rib. I highly recommend this place for celebrating any special occasion. Plenty of free parking spots in the plaza.
