Our dinner was off the charts delicious… truly! We consider ourselves discriminating foodies and last night’s meal was one of the best meals at a restaurant… ever! The service was exceptional and the ambiance/vibe was perfect. We will definitely return!

This wood house is made for cookin’! Aside from the beautiful decor which is the perfect complement to 1 Hotel, let’s talk great food. If you want the full (eye) tasting menu, see below. Worth noting was the spectacular grilled octopus, wild mushroom truffle risotto, and the hunk of beef.

Went there for my wife’s and neighbours wife’s birthdays. Let me start by saying the ambience in the restaurant is incredible. Dimly lit, very earthy and modern decor. Our server, Sai, was hands down one of the best servers we’ve ever had. Took his time with us, did not rush us, and provided great feedback and suggestions. The good - incredible. We got the tomahawk, cooked to medium and it was fantastic. The potatoes that came with the steak were probably one of the best I’ve had. We also got the risotto and it too was equally delicious. To start we got the wagyu meatball, guacamole with the thin fried plantain chips. I got the Solstice as my cocktail and the it was a show at our table - check out the video. Look - the food was absolutely amazing. The desserts were so good, not overly sweet. I’d highly recommend dining at this establishment. It’s not cheap but well worth the money.

This is the Best restaurant that I dinned so far in Toronto. Amazing ambience, decor, music. Anytime I would recommend my friends to this restaurant a Best place to dine. We went to celebrate my Birthday. Lovely experience. The food we ordered were delicious -oysters were fresh. The servers were attentive and efficient. The music was perfect. We ordered Tacos but could be done better. Other than that I would say very good.

A very well known modern mexican restaurant in downtown Toronto. Despite it is not located in the populated streets, this is one of the “must visit” restaurants in this city. All wooden decorations, honoring the name, and wide open space inside fitting a large number of tables to feed multiple customers at the same time. They have a good amount of staff and servers, guaranteeing you are well attended during the whole meal. Menu is not large, but neither small, giving you more than enough options to keep you thinking for a while on what to order. They offer starters, raw seafood, salads, mains and sides. And as good mexican restaurant, they have a separate menu just for tacos. Tacos here are all excellent, homemade tortillas generously stuffed with fresh ingredients. Each plate comes with two tacos and I recommend ordering the arrachera and barbacoa. If you fancy something spicy, order Al Pastor tacos. As main, I tried the Patto, a very well cooked duck, served in two long slices with the fat, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. A delicatessen. I decided to accompany the duck with a side of truffle potatoes, which were extraordinary. They have a medium size dessert menu, with great choices where I definitely recommend ordering the salted caramel and chocolate. It won’t disappoint! Another highlight of this restaurant is the cocktails menu. Obviously having as main characters the tequila and mezcal, they manage to serve excellent drinks to the table where all of them define a different story/flavor. The ambience is chill and appropriate, with the exception of the music selection which sometimes techno mixed with life guitar beats is not the best option to accompany a meal. Price here is over average. While every plate is culinary piece of quality and excellence, I am not sure if the high prices are according the menu selection. I would say here you pay the experience. Definitely recommended for a special occasion, romantic date or a group gathering

Location was great; in the lobby of 1Hotel which is nice no need to go outside when its cold. Service was great very attentive and not pushy. I never had to ask for water nor my plates to be cleared. Food was okay, I think I was expecting it to be more but it failed. The tacos were bland for me, it was just flat. Yuca fries were a big let down. Even as a left over no one ate it. Just felt that it should have been more considering the price and the brand. Overall we tried it and it was okay.

Tonight, I went out with my friends for a girls’ night, and we had an amazing time at this restaurant! It was my third time visiting, and each time I leave feeling so happy and satisfied. From the delicious food to the wonderful service from our waiter Sai, who was kind, courteous, and attentive, everything was perfect. The music, the ambiance, the dancer, the desserts, and the cocktails all made for such a memorable experience. If you haven’t been, it’s absolutely worth visiting—100% recommended! This will always be one of my favorite spots in Toronto. Thank you for making the evening so special for my friends and me… I’ll be back soon!

Came here to celebrate for my last 20' s birthday .the food was gorgeous like everything tasty. And specially the wagyu steaks very tenders And juicy.also The duck meat tacos so freaking textures and yummy! And my comfort food truffle risotto was solo good as well.
