This cool café was on Toronto Island, but unfortunately, we couldn’t use it. It was crowded, and we wanted coffee, but they didn’t have any inside and only served it to-go. We ended up skipping it, but it had a nice view and looked really charming.

I am amazed by the level of service at Carousel Cafe, all of the employees were very nice to my kid and myself. Reading the comments, i dont understand how can people have high expectations, considering the food and employees needs to travel there. I’ve been to all the restaurants on the island, they are all good, this one was exceptional with the view we had. The food was also great, many choice on the menu, nice drinks!!! I give this place 5 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ because the food, drinks, view, service was exceptional. If you are a more difficult person, eat in Toronto before arriving to the island. Thanks to the whole staff, please repair the mens washroom door, it makes loud noise when you open ☺️

Very adorable restaurant on Centreville Island!! The food is good—they have nice portions but are slightly expensive. Meanwhile, the servers are nice but some are a little snappy and rude :( Had a server get angry and neglect us because they thought we wouldn’t tip even though we were going to. Patio is pretty however it was windy and their setups are a little loose, so an umbrella almost flew into a kid. Overall a nice place but not too amazing.

The food was good and the portions proportional to the price. We got the BBQ chicken flatbread and bacon cheddar burger. The fries were well done. Its true from the other reviews that the service is a hit or miss. Looks like college or senior school kids on the waitstaff. So most of them are just looking to get paid. They did get our burger order wrong; had ordered the Swiss melt.

On my second visit to this place, I must commend the veggie flatbread which was delightful. This place offered a vegetarian soup of the day and a selection of desserts including brownies and assorted ice creams, which were okay. I would advise those with a milder palate to be cautious with the barbeque chicken wings, as they were spicy. I'd like to give a shout-out to our server, Megan, who was attentive and did a good job. A couple of suggestions for enhancing the dining experience: the round tables inside seem a bit unstable and are on the smaller side. If considering outdoor seating, do note that the comfort of the terrace tables can be significantly influenced by the weather conditions and some other factors.

The staff was super friendly and the food was delicious! I have never seen such large portions, which is good. The price was justified. The only thing I found funny is that they brought dessert before the main dish, which I didn't mind because I had the brownie but my friend had chocolate ice cream so when we finished our main dishes, it had already melted. But other than that, the employees were very kind. Totally recommend if you're visiting Toronto Island.

Great location. Friendly staff. We didn't expect too much from the food, but it was not so bad. They have a kids' menu -an average of 8$ per meal. And the mains are on average 18$. I liked that they had a “healthier options” like salmon salad - with lots of greens.
