Brunch was great, the savoury croissant with salmon, the salad and eggs was a great brunch option. The pizzas have a thin crust which is great, just wish it was crispier but overall had a great experience. Service was also good

Absolutely loved Carolina Pizzeria! The pizza was perfectly crispy with fresh, flavorful toppings. The beef carpaccio was light and delicious, and the fries were golden and crispy – the aioli was a great touch. Great food, cozy vibe, and friendly service. Can’t wait to come back!

Carolinas has been on my list to try and they did not disappoint. The food was absolutely amazing with generous Italian portions. You have to try the pistachio lava cake. Looking forward to my next visit!

Ah, the exquisite dance of flavors, the harmonious symphony of textures, and the sheer joy of culinary excellence—such was my recent experience at Carolina, nestled on Dundas Street West in Toronto. This restaurant, with its cozy ambiance and understated charm, proved itself a veritable temple to the art of Italian cuisine. We began our journey with the Antipasto per Quattro, a veritable feast for both the eyes and the palate. A curated selection of fine cured meats, artisanal cheeses, marinated vegetables, and crusty bread, it was the perfect opening act—a tantalizing prelude to the culinary concert that awaited us. Every bite was a revelation, a harmonious interplay of salty, creamy, and tangy notes. From the wood-fired oven came four pizzas that were nothing short of masterpieces. The Toto Pizza—oh, what a triumph! Its toppings married simplicity with sophistication. The Tanta Roba Pizza, true to its name, was a generous explosion of flavors, bold yet balanced. The Bedra Mia Pizza delighted with its nuanced layers, while the Calabrisella Pizza brought a fiery kick that lingered just long enough to captivate without overwhelming. Each crust was a work of art: crisp yet yielding, with a delicate char that whispered of authenticity. The Marcello Panini stood as a testament to the enduring beauty of a well-crafted sandwich. Tender meats, vibrant greens, and a touch of zesty sauce embraced by perfectly grilled bread—it was comfort and elegance in one satisfying bite. And then came dessert. Tiramisu, a cloud-like confection of mascarpone, coffee, and cocoa, transported us straight to Italy with its delicate sweetness. The Pistachio Lava Cake, with its molten center of nutty decadence, was the kind of dessert that inspires sonnets. Our libations of choice—Peroni and Negroni—perfectly complemented the meal. The beer, crisp and refreshing, provided a delightful counterpoint to the richness of the fare, while the Negroni, with its bitter and citrusy complexity, stood as a bold, refined companion. The staff, ever attentive yet unobtrusive, made us feel both welcomed and pampered. It was clear that they, too, were deeply invested in ensuring that every guest’s experience was nothing short of exceptional. Carolina is not merely a restaurant; it is an experience, a love letter to the culinary traditions of Italy. To dine here is to revel in the joy of good company, good food, and the kind of evening that lingers fondly in one’s memory long after the final crumb has been savored. Bravo! Bravo!

Absolutely worth the drive to downtown on a Wednesday to take advantage of their Wednesday two for one pizza promotion if you follow them on Instagram. The Rose and Blond beer paired perfectly. We could not resist picking up some Almond croissants to go. Can't wait to taste them.

Came for the pistachio pancakes and they were amazing. Also got the steak & scrambled eggs. They had a truffle flavour and a spoonful of mushroom paté on top. I am in love with this brunch. I’ll be back. Authentic Italian.

If you want amazing food this is the place! The wood fired pizza is incredible. Fresh ingredients and top tier quality! The arrancini are absolutely to die for! The service is top notch and the atmosphere here is perfect for a date night or a night out with friends . I look forward to returning and trying more items on this menu !

The food was authentic and delicious! We loved the arancini, truffle fries, pizzas and pasta. The pasta was homemade and well cooked. The pesto pasta was a bit of a letdown. The pesto was strong and fresh but there wasn’t much flavour. It was a great spot to try authentic Italian food! The service was also great.
