Made a reservation for two tonight. The servers were all very professional. The soup of the day was a lobster and shrimp bisque, we had the grilled portobello mushroom, seafood risotto, and rack of lamb, the rice in the risotto felt a bit raw and there was quite a bit of green onion mixed in the rice, but everything else was very good, you can ask the servers for mint sauce to go with the lamb 👍

4.1 / 5.0 - corporate dinner. Place was pretty much what I expected. Well run Italian restaurant with older, veteran staff. Everybody knows what they are doing . The 4.1 was because there were a number of misses in my experience. 1) food was good, not great. My salad was swimming in balsamic dressing. The bruschetta was 80% bread and 20% tomatoes. Should be more 60/40. The soup was okay but bland. Veal was nice, but Demi glacé was a bit off. Risotto was very nice. Dessert was tasty - tiramisu is light and worth trying every time. Fried calamari and shrimp are very tasty. 2) service was mid. Attentive, but a bit robotic and through the motions. No salt or pepper, and we went from appetizer to dessert in 60 mins or so. If you live nearby it’s worth it. Decor is fun, Roman style.

We had an office dinner here. The service was professional, cordial and prompt. And the food was absolutely divinely delicious. It's the best grilled chicken + roasted potato dish I've ever had, and their bruschetta was exquisite. The portions were generous, and filling. It was an amazing culinary experience, 100% recommend.

Exceptional service, the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Always made sure everything was taken care of for our party of 9. There was live music, singing with piano and guitar, it was wonderful. Food was good.

I was transported to my time in Italy. I enjoyed every moment at this restaurant, the decor, customer service, and most importantly, the food. I had the salmon wow (tasty and fesh). The mango was a tasteful addition. Thank you to the severs there. Sorry, I forgot their names. However, the gentleman was Portuguese n spoke Italian 👏 and the woman was from Ukraine. Will return again

We passed by this restaurant a lot of time. Finally we picked the day before the Lunar New Year and a friend birthday to come. The food is excellent. We like the grilled lamb rack which is grilled perfectly. The mushroom risotto is excellent taste. The grilled whole fish and shrimps are excellent made. We like the desserts, especially the coconut cream cheesecake. The service are courteous and the live music are so nostalgic. The musician picked the song perfectly for the Lunar New Year Eve and surprised us. We enjoy every moment and service of the restaurant. We will definitely come again.

A nice hidden gem of regional Italian cuisine, impeccable service, nice wine list, extensive menu of daily specials, fresh pasta, large servings, great atmosphere with live piano & guitar performer on certain days. Very friendly and helpful staff with efficient attentive service. The go-to place for fine Italian food in Markham.

This is a great date-night place. It's got a classic vibe to it, and on weekends they have live piano. The food is always delicious. My favorite starter is crab cakes - it's probably the best crab cakes I've had. Their risottos and pastas are all delicious and my favorite is the short rib risotto - it's so rich and flavorful. Their pizzas are also excellent and the in-house tiramisu is perfect. This is definitely an easy recommendation.
