The chicken I ordered was heated by microwave…. I got the food and wondered why it so hot? And then I ate the chicken and knew immediately that it was microwave, never coming back again you should not eat here either.

Caribbean Wave: A Taste of Paradise Caribbean Wave is a hidden gem offering authentic Caribbean cuisine. The flavors are vibrant and the portions are generous. The friendly staff make you feel right at home. Highly recommended for a delicious and unforgettable dining experience. I was there for a business meeting and we were very well taken care of.

I am visit Canada this restaurant was referred as having great food. I purchased roti it was terrible the dough was missing baking powder it was like uncooked dough, the alloo pie was so oily with onions and chive, and the phoulorie could bust your head and break your teeth how hard it was. I will never visit again it was beyond disappointment 😞.

I used to dine in this restaurant when I lived in the area years ago and my experience was great. Food was delicious and service was great. I decided to go there on the weekend and I was very disappointed. I ordered the special fried rice with chicken and pepper shrimp, it was definitely not the same as before. The peas was so hard it actually made a sound when it fell on the plate. I couldn’t eat it. The chicken was either overcooked or was under a heating appliance for too long. The only good thing about going there was the server. She was very pleasant. I tipped just because of her. I will never go back there again!

Use to come here a lot back in the day and the food was always great. It’s been a while and decided to get food and the food was not good. Ordered chicken fried rice and the chicken was dry as if it’s been sitting down for hours and the peas were so hard that if you drop it on the plate you’ll hear it… hard to chew! Highly disappointed because this isn’t how I remember this place to be and the quality just isn’t the same. The service itself was great but the food was just a no for me.

I’ve been frequent at this restaurant for many, many, many years. I don’t know what happened, quality is not the same. More specifically my complaint is, each time I go lately the vege fried rice vegetables are getting hard and harder to chew. Both the rice and vegetables are tough. Today the green peas taste like stone, the rice was just as hard. I don’t know why, in restaurants I sometimes expect and understand inconsistencies, but never in rice. Like how do you mess up rice.

Ordered the pepper shrimp and veggie fried rice. We loved this place when we lived in Scarborough. As as with many other restaurants the food quality has taken a hit but the prices climb. We’ve definitely had better pepper shrimp from here but overall the food still had good flavour and was good

Take out is 15m. Location looks empty when you pull up but it's busy. Folks are in and out picking up orders incl catering. I wouldn't get jerk chicken again but would def get the wave fish, nice and spicy. Chow mein was good.
