You have to call in advance especially after 3 pm. But it's worth it. Ate /a-teh/ Anne's food reminds me of home. I know people drop by late at night for their food to take home to their families. Everything is good with rice (except the desserts Ofcourse). Anyone who wants to dip their toes into filipino food could start with her adobo, her menudo, her afritada, or her kare kare. She also makes them the way you specify so if there's anything you don't like she'll accommodate. Ate Anne is very friendly and very informative of people who comes by who wants to try the food. I order a lot of her siopaos which are marinated pork in buns that are good after 1 minute in the microwave. You can tell she makes it herself. Perfect for lunches. When she had halo halo I buy 4 or 5 at a time. These are real authentic filipino food which is so close to home. I'm so happy she's set up shop here.

A hidden gem of Bowmanville. My husband is filipino and we moved to Bowmanville in June. Tonight was our first time ordering. We ordered pancit, beef kare kare, pork skewers and vegetable lumpia. The portion sizes were great, hot and fresh. If you've never tried filipino food I highly suggest ordering from Cantina Pinoy. Even better than our fave filipino place in Toronto.

So happy that Bowmanville has an authentic Filipino spot. It’s a one woman show so it’s recommended to call in your order in advance because she’s often making-it-to-order (daily menu is on fb page Pinoy Cantina). Happy to support this small business. The lady is super friendly and really cares about making delicious, fresh food.

We’ve ordered their trays of shanghai lumpia on two different occasions and they were eaten within minutes! So delicious and fresh! We will definitely be ordering for all special occasions or just a night we’re craving authentic Filipino food

This is our go-to place for Filipino Food! The dishes taste great and the price is reasonable. We definitely recommend Cantina Pinoy. Ate Ann, is super nice and friendly too! 😊
