Canadiana Grill By The Lake

We’ve been to Canadiana almost a dozen times and we love it. Prices used to be super reasonable but have recently gone up due to inflation which is understandable. Food is quite good - the breakfast burger was amazing as well as the spinach feta omelette and turkey club - they don’t skimp on meat which is appreciated. Portions are all good, just the fries were mediocre, frozen from a bag. I docked one star because they never have gluten free bread and I ask every time I come in. It would be nice if the menu was labelled with gluten free or dairy free options for people with food restrictions… To the owners: PLEASE give us some gluten free bread or modifications (potatoes instead of bread). It would open up so many menu items for us. Looking forward to returning.

I ordered two large souvlaki dinners. Food was good and portion of meat was sufficient. However, for a large dinner there was hardly enough rice and potatoes. These two sides are not expensive. They shouldn't skimp on them.

This is my favorite restaurant! Hands down the best diner in all of Toronto, the food is great, very generous i might add, the service is always top tier, and don’t get me started on the food! It’s the best, and it’s reasonably priced! the club house is my favourite and the mac and cheese bites are excellent, so if your from the Etobicoke or mimico area I HIGHLY RECOMMEND COMING HERE!!

Came by for brunch on the weekend. From the outside it doesn’t look like much, they have some parking infront of the building. Inside, it was actually very busy, booths along the wall and tables in the centre. We ordered an omelette and burger with poutine. The food was actually decent, the home fries were crispy. The fries to gravy ratio was good. Didn’t have much expectations but left pleasantly surprised. The service was fine.

Food was great, prices were reasonable. Atmosphere was laid back and casual. Really appreciated the colouring books provided to help settle my rowdy toddlers. I was pleasantly surprised overall. Had a great lunch

A classic cafe/grill on the lakeshore West area. The service can be a bit slow at times due to single server for the whole grill but the food preparation is decent. It gives you a feel of a classic old school grill. Loved the ambience.

First time eating Poutine and it was our last day in Canada, this place was the closest where we can get it. I think they did good in representing this Canadian dish. The flavor was good. The combination of cheese and gravy was surprisingly great. Very filling as well. I ordered take out and they were done with it in a few minutes, the fries were still hot when we got back to our accommodation. I thought this was just a snack but it’s very much like a meal.

Canadiana Grill by the Lake serves a delicious breakfast and dinner menu at an affordable price. Atmosphere: The staff and owners are friendly and courteous. We go there for brunch on weekends and sure it's busy but the service is efficient... Food: 10/10 on the large portioned western omelette. The eggs were perfect and the bacon was crispy. 😋 Home fries are decent and plentiful. Their coffee is a good blend, not too strong and bottomless.☕ Cheesecake Factory desserts are available at a fair price.💙 We would highly recommend this family restaurant for any meal from lunch to dinner in a clean, relaxed & friendly atmosphere. 👍🏼
