Everything was great, food was delicious, great service. Food comes very quickly the pace of the meal was very fast. Can appreciate the quick service just may want to pace when you order your next taco if you aren't ready to eat it yet.

Loved the whole experience! The food was absolutely to die for—I had the barbacoa (braised lamb) and loved it so much! If you’re a fan of lamb, it’s a must-try. We also had the campechano and bistec, with the bistec being my second favorite. The salsa and guacamole were beautifully presented, and the salsa was chef’s kiss! I really enjoyed the vibe, especially having the kitchen in sight and watching the chefs at work—it added to the experience. However, it can get a bit loud, especially during busy times, but for me, it only made it more lively and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

$9-$12 a Taco but really good and satisfying tacos! Had the barbacoa, carnitas, and the bistek. Barbacoa had a nice kick and flavor to it. They crisp up one side of the carnitas meat so you get a really crispy texture in your bite, but still juicy. And the bistek had a nice simple flavor that was a palate cleanser after I had the first 2. The veterinarian options were tasty as well The Spicy margarita also really hit.

Highly recommend this place! I visited after hearing friends rave about it, and it definitely lived up to the hype. What sets their tacos apart is the house-made tortilla, which was super soft and delicious. The waiter, George, was incredibly patient, taking the time to explain the menu and answer all of my questions.

Spectacular tacos. Loaded to the brim and full of flavor. You won't find many better places. Maybe Wilbur's cochnita pibil could give Campechano a run for their money but you're in good hands. Sopes is another offering besides tacos here. Highly recommend as it's a thicker and crispier tortilla base. I wish they gave little spoons so you could eat the amazing fillings that fall out.

I was so excited to visit this place as it is very hard to find good Mexican restaurants in Montreal. So a Mexican and listed as BIB Gourmand !! That was something ! But unfortunately my experience was really poor… We arrived for dinner. We were greeted by one person that assigned us a table and then our waitress came to ask if we would like to have a drink. Besides the drinks, we opted for guacamole and quesadilla as appetizers, 4 different tacos and tres leches as dessert. What can I say ? Already the service was not that great. We saw more than 4 different people within 2 hours. You will say great, but no because our waitress never came back to check on us. We asked that appetizers and tacos come one after another so we can take our time and also the table is kind of small. We were assured that this will be the case, but no. Everything came in all together. So it was kind of not great, first because of the space, second arriving to tacos, they were kind of called. Anyway, at the end as we didn’t order the dessert in the beginning, we had to wait for more than 15 min to have a person attention and ask them to get us dessert. No the person wasn’t our assigned waitress… I think she left without even telling us. Regarding the dishes, besides quesadillas and fish tacos, everything else was quite ordinary. I don’t know how this restaurant got the BIB Gourmand distinction as nothing was really WOW.

Delicious? Absolutely! Worth $12 per taco? ..🤨 They were definitely amazing tacos but 4 stars because 1. It was sooo loud in the restaurant, we had to yell over the table to talk to each other. 2. It was hard to grab the servers attention. It was just too busy and they might be understaffed. 3. 1/3 of the menus weren’t available / sold out and it was a Thursday night. I had high expectations as I’ve been told many times how great Campechano is and also with the high price, I expected better ambiance and better service.

Absolutely delicious! These are definitely some of the best tacos in the city. It’s been a while since I last came but wow I was so impressed. The quality of the food is great, they staff is so friendly. They have great cocktails and drinks. They are also really good with accommodation food allergies. Highly recommend checking them out.
