Beautiful restaurant great service but oily tacos. I ordered the carnitas tacos which tasted really good but were extremely oily… it was dripping down my mouth at some point and all collected in a puddle on my plate which didn’t make my stomach feel great afterwards. My friend enjoyed her quesadilla though so I’m sure the other food is great, but I wish the tacos weren’t so greasy because the flavours itself were delicious. Otherwise the decorations are lovely and our server was super sweet!

Great food and service. I think the ceviche was our favorite and we could have kept going had we not hit our limit 🤣. Tapas in general are highly recommended. Can’t wait to go back and try brunch options!

I've only dined here once for brunch but I had a great meal will definitely be back to try their other offerings. There are a bunch of vegan menu items, which is cool and unexpected!!

This is a lovely place I'll be going back to for sure. The tacos gobernador (shrimp) was the best Mexican food I've had in Toronto. I've attached a pic but I should say one was partially eaten. Couldn't resist trying the giant shrimp on their own. The shrimp were so big I'm not sure you could eat it as a taco without having one or two first. Delicious!

Camaleon is a definite vibe! With its neon lights, bar centerpiece and beat-driven music, it's definitely a place to eat and drink the night away. Stopped by for dinner and got: - Guacamole: Very fresh though would have liked a bit more zest to it. - Mole Con Polo: The tastiest mole I've had in the city. Mole sauce was generous, and had a great balance of a spicy kick with slight sweetness. Chicken was tender and juicy. - Baja Fish Tacos: Fresh fish, crispy thin batter. Though would have appreciated a bigger portion size. - Churros: Deep fried without being oily. Side dipping chocolate was fine. - Flan: Dense without being heavy with just the right level of sweetness. Service was top-notch: attentive, friendly, good suggestions. Space is small but they maximize it. And again, a great vibrant atmosphere.
