California Sandwiches

I don't eat California Sandwiches often but I have to highlight the service at this location. The staff are ALWAYS friendly and smiling. It could be right when they open or right before they close. They make conversation with you while you wait. I will return because of their energy!!!

Gross. The worst part: hair in the food. I ordered from Uber Eats—a veal sandwich, plus what seemed like an extra bun on the side for an additional charge. Turns out, they charge $1.75 just to place the existing bun from the veal sandwich on the side, no extra bun. You’re actually paying for them not to make the sandwich. What a joke. And with the hair in the food, I’ll never order from here again. I tried calling twice with no answer. Waste of money, only to feel disgusted. Wear hair nets.

Been a customer for 45 years starting with the Claremont location and anywhere I’ve moved. You cannot beat their sweet veal sandwich and never any shrinkflation with these guys. Sandwiches are huge and unchanged since their original. You won’t be disappointed!

I've been a loyal customer since I was 12. I am so upset at what they now want me to eat. I would only once feed it to my dogs this time because I can't eat this. The new version of what they think they can pass off as food. It is nowhere near what nona fed us as children. How dare you think we are stupid enough not to notice you've changed everything. Shame on you. Nona would be rolling in her grave if she knew what you did. I'll never try to eat that again.

Amazing food, the best sandwiches! The staff are very friendly and do an amazing job, greeting you with smiles and making you feel welcomed. You can tell that the food is fresh and the portion sizes are huge! I've been to many sandwiches shops but I don't think there has been one yet that has reached this level, This place will never disappoint!

I got the chicken sandwich with provolone cheese and onions. It was amazing as always. Love this place for great sandwiches. Been coming here for many years. Very clean restaurant and friendly staff. They work quickly considering the high volume of customers.

I recently had the opportunity to try one of their sandwiches for the first time. Given my dietary restrictions, I chose the Eggplant Parmigiana sandwich, and I was impressed by its rich and delightful flavors. While I enjoyed it, I thought it would be wonderful if they could consider offering halal meat options in the future. I would recommend their sandwiches to others.
