Cairo Shawarma

I recently visited this place, and it was absolutely incredible! The shawarma was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The juicy, tender meat paired with their soft, warm Saj bread and creamy garlic sauce was a match made in heaven. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Whether you’re a shawarma enthusiast or trying it for the first time, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back for more! 5/5 stars! Highly recommend.

Run down and dirty interior. Dead bugs on the restaurant wooden letters just below the glass display area. Now the shawarmas -awful taste, extremely greasy, that the bread was soaked due to exhausted amount of sauce use. I threw out most of the wrap as it soggy and falling apart. Not so much meat inside the shawarma. If you’re health conscious, I don’t recommend this at all. The service was super slow and it was dead inside, no customers. This was my first and last time here.

Bones in shawarma, rice was overcooked and mushy with the sauce. Chicken texture was similar to shredded chicken. This was not leftovers (for too good to go), instead it was food that he couldn't sell so he is abusing the app.

Went here to pick up a order that I placed on Too Good To Go app. They are not selling left over food through the app. Instead, they sell their regular orders through Too Good To Go for good profit. Since it says "surprise bag", they can sell anything for the price that they post. I paid around $8 ($6.99 + tax) for this box of rice & chicken strips. The store was deserted when I reached at around 8:15pm, and they prepared the food right in front of me.

Yesterday, my friend and I picked up catered items from Cairo Shawerma for a friend's bridal shower. We ordered rice with mixed nuts, roasted potatoes, tabbouleh salad and Greek salad. The owner-Gerges was phenomenal and easy to work with. The entire process from ordering the food to receiving exactly what we ordered, was flawless. Gerges listened to what the bride-to-be wanted and delivered on his promise with reasonable pricing. My friend's guests had nothing but positive feedback about how tasty and delicious the food was. All the items were quickly eaten from how much they were delectable and appetizing. I highly recommend ordering and dinning at Cairo Shawerma. Their customer service, taste of food and prices are all phenomenal!!

I ordered the chicken wrap, I ordered the second one before the wrap was finished, I can swear that I ate the best chicken wrap in Toronto in this modest restaurant. The first thing I pay attention to in such humble places is cleanliness. Cleanliness is very good (let me give you an order, I especially pay attention to the cloths used in the kitchen, if a cook uses a clean cloth in the kitchen, a really clean and disciplined cook manages that kitchen. Cleanliness: good Taste : Great Customer service : Excellent

Great location for a quick bite. The owner speaks somewhat English but he can do the job. Food is nice at a reasonable price. Hope next time they can use less sweet in their sauces and also less sauce.
