Cafe N One North York

I went for brunch on Dec 27th. Super cute cafe. I've been to Soban which used to be at this location, so I know they really upgraded the space. My main issue is that the menu isn't very clear about what is actually in the dishes. You have to order through your phone via the QR code, and there isn't really staff going around much for you to ask. They'll put down the dish or drink and they're gone. It can be hard catching staff to get the bill as well. So anyways, I got an egg and cheese croissant, but it had an unknown sauce in the bottom, and I'm very picky, so I didn't finish it. My sister got a salmon and cream cheese that comes with tomatos and other veggies, but she didn't mind. We also got different souffle pancakes (Matcha and Creme Brulee) and shared one of each. They were both great. I've been to Fuwa Fuwa Pancakes before with friends, and I know some complained theirs was a bit raw back then (to be fair, they didn't open long before we went) but these were well done. I usually don't care for matcha anything, but I actually liked them a bit more than the Brulee pancakes. My drink was great. My sister said she had better coffee, and found the beans at the bottom a little weird, but she didn't mind it. The overall price wasn't bad either. While it was busy, it didn't feel loud or crowded. Very relaxed environment. I would definitely come back, but I'll definitely wait for assistance and make my requests before ordering.

Food was so good. I had the Egg Melt Sando with Avocado and the Mango & Peach smoothie. Everything was delicious and the service was so fast. Cafe was spacious and lots of seating. Love that their menu has so much variety! I will definitely be back!

Great desserts and nice place for coffee with friends, good all day breakfast, main entrées like spaghetti is bit on the saltier side, although that's probably personal preference. The fluffy pancakes they make is really good, not coyingly sweet, just right. Crowd is bit on the younger side and music slightly too loud to talk comfortably. Staff is professional and quick.

Place is so great! There were four of us and we had the standard two eggs with toast, an egg croissant sandwich, chicken and waffles and the soufflé pancakes. They were all amazing! Just be aware that stuff comes out as it’s ready. Not a huge deal, but good to be aware of. Really cool vibe in the place as well.

The ambiance was both elegant and inviting, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The menu offered a wide variety of options, catering to diverse tastes. While the presentation could have been a bit more polished, the drinks themselves were flavourful and enjoyable. The servers were exceptionally friendly and impressively knowledgeable, providing detailed and helpful explanations of the menu.

Food is delicious! I got the pork belly croissant with the iced coffee add on. The coffee uses a frozen coffee cube so it doesn't water the drink down as it melts. Service was fast for the meals, though the menu says some desserts take 25 minutes to prepare! Energetic atmosphere of you like that kind of thing. I prefer quiet places myself :)

Nice place to visit with friends. Located conveniently near Finch station. I like that the cafe has plenty of options for savoury meals like pasta, and desserts. We tried the pastas with salad and it was delicious. Loved the asian/japanese twist to the pasta. The place was clean though seating is bit crowded. We scan the QR code for menu and order, so not much interaction with the staff. Overall a good place to try out

Food was delicious. QR code to order for yourself. The restaurant is clean and nice. The egg and cheese croissant sandwich also comes with a coffee as a combo. My only issue would be the tables are very close together. I was about 1ft away from the other table, so there's no privacy at all.
