Carbonara - came in somewhat lukewarm & a bit too salty. Al dente which was great. Smoked Salmon - amazing olive oil on the bread. Very fresh with the marscapone cream cheese. Highly recommend for your taste buds. Cafe is nestled in the middle right hand side of a furniture store with ample parking. Keep walking in the store.... Nice staff. As there was only one chef, expect that your dishes will be staggered coming out.

This boutique cafe and restaurant quaintly tucked inside ELTE is the hidden gem you didn’t know you needed in this neighbourhood. The warm ambiance, the thoughtfully curated food menu items, and of course the service were all top notch. Elina was a ball of positive energy, enthusiastically guiding me through their culinary choices. I would recommend this premium option for a great casual eating experience.

I went there for the first time today for lunch with my wife. She chose the Turkey sandwich and I chose the Rigatoni Bolognese. I was enticed to try this out based on a blog TO review which included beautiful, looking dishes in their pics (as do the pics on their website). I was surprised when we got there, as the setting looks very much like a cafeteria, including a bunch of different kinds of pop cans, on the counter in front of the pay terminal. The first issue that we encountered was that my wife’s sandwich was brought out about 10 to 15 minutes before my pasta dish. So, she ended up finishing before I had even been given my lunch. When my lunch did arrive, I was kind of surprised that not only was it dried pasta, but it was cooked, so al dente, that it’s stuck to my teeth/gums. for the record, I definitely prefer my pasta to be served al dente, but I have never experienced pasta at a restaurant that has been cooked so poorly. I sent it back asking if there might be something else I could have instead, but the chef assured me that he could fix it within two minutes 🤔. About five minutes later, they brought the dish back, and I basically couldn’t tell the difference. The waitress said that the chef ‘apologized’ for the inconvenience. I just ate the rest of it and left disappointed.

There is always something new the café has to offer, I'm always intrigued by their spread. The croissants are a must try, its flaky and perfect in taste. I'm yet to try their desserts, might hop in soon to try the tiramisu.
