This is a cute little spot with great food. Definitely more of a cafe vibe to do work or for a quick meet with some friends. Came here for brunch and they had a short and simple menu but still enough variety. The eggs Benedict was very good. Didn’t realize the salad had some chili peppers on it, I picked them out.

Great vibe restaurant, ambient lighting, menu to please all palettes. Pastas, fish, chicken, beef, salad, lasagna, roasted veg and more. Extensive wine / cocktail / mocktail selection. Comfortable seats, great for a conversation-centric dinner. Really liked the Brussels sprout ceaser salad. Ziti pasta was nice (a bit salty) & sea bream fish 🙌 were good mains. Strawberry yogurt parfait was a super good dessert. Nice spot. Parking deck nearby. Friendly staff. Decently fast service! Something for everyone here.

Really yummy!! The desserts are really good. The strawberry parfait is kinda bubbly? Which is so good!! The cake and cannolis are also great. The Brussels Caesar was my favourite thing I ate. Really really good. The sea bream is super delicious. The duck pasta was good (but really salty). It’s a chill spot. The staff are lovellyyy!

We arrived around 6pm, apparently it is more of a cafe earlier in the day, then a restaurant in the evening. The salad was good, I think it would have been nice with craisins, but that is something I will try at home. The pasta was great, they had gluten-free options. The alcohol free sangria tasted a bit like a cold mulled wine, very refreshing.

The best part about the place was its decor, dim lighting and polite server. He also charged my phone since it was dead. The food however was mid. We got the spicy rigatoni, mozerella sticks and apple pie latte. All three were okayish😕

Follow @bredgyeats for more food posts! Brunch represents those special times when I have savory and dessert at the same time. It works because the tangy pomodoro sauce of the eggplant parm contrasts the richness of the semolina pancakes, cleansing your palate so you can fully appreciate each bite. Using semolina flour to make pancakes brings a slightly more savory taste, which complements the indulgent combination of mascarpone, chocolate espresso syrup, ricotta, zabaglione and roasted hazelnuts. It's fun to taste each element separately, but the ultimate bite comes from getting all the elements in one. I especially loved the contrast of the sweet, creamy mascarpone with the fragrant bitterness thanks to the espresso syrup, elevated by the boozy kick of the zabaglione that reminds me of spiked eggnog ice cream. Each pancake is fluffy with an airiness inside, providing a vessel to sop up all the delicious liquids. For a crunchy texture contrast, the hazelnuts fulfill their job while also providing an aromatic roasted nutty flavour. The eggplants are breaded with a breadcrumb crust that's fried to soak up the refreshing tomato sauce, while also providing a bit of bite along with the chewiness of the gooey mozzarella on top. The fragrant hit of basil and garlic adds a pleasant depth of flavour, along with the dusting of Parmigiano for more umami.

The food here is to die for. The server was super chill and nice. Large portion sizes. You can definitely share the pancakes between two people!

I was looking forward into trying this restaurant, but unfortunately it was an awful experience. From the moment we sat down, our waiter whose name I believe is Kelvin (according to our receipt) was awful. He was NOT friendly, nor welcoming at all & made it seem as he is doing us a favour. He seemed aggravated when we told him that we are ready to order right away. After our 2 mains we told him to please bring out the pancakes, it took a good 20 minutes to get them to our table after informing him. The pancakes came super cold & not what I expected at all. He came by & I believe realized that we didn’t enjoy them as we left 3/4 of it & asked is everything okay with the pancakes? I informed him that they are super cold & in my belief they have been ready for a good 15 minutes & that’s why. His response was “they are cold because there is ice cream in the middle” in a very rude / argumentative way as I am stupid. I’ve only had possibly over 500 pancakes in my life with ice cream down the middle & they are always hot with the ice cream melting as well. I asked for the bill please which he brought & just left at the edge of the table in a rude way. It was extremely uncomfortable & just wanted to get out of the restaurant ASAP. I am open for the manager or owner to contact me & discuss further in depth of my experience. This is not the right type of guy you want working the floor of your establishment as he truly made the experience awful from the minute we sat down. He can damage your business & scare away lots of potential business & money. Lastly, you should not judge a book by its cover & can loose LOTS of business & future casual lunches, business lunches with 20 + people or even private events etc. I run a extremely well established business known VERY well across Canada, so I can tell you first hand, you MUST treat every customer with respect, care & positivity if you want to grow as a person & also as business.
