Came here for an office Christmas party. Really attentive service and drinks. Food wise the octopus is better than Bar Isabel. Steak was meh a little below average; seasoning a bit too light and overcooked. But honestly I can imagine trying to cook and serve 30 steaks at the same time is very challenging. Loved the dessert donuts!

WOW factor indeed! We booked a corporate luncheon for 30 people and the event was superb. Starting with the planning, between the Executive Chef and the General Manager, we had many last minute changes that were handled flawlessly. The Staff are excellent and while engaging in heavy discussion the service was smooth and impeccable. The menu selections divine and the overall impression left with our guests was that we made the best choice for hosting this event. Thank you to Bymark for a memorable and outstanding experience!

Classy experience in the financial district. Tasty food, but abnormally slow service (hopefully a one-off). Oddly empty given the quality of food. We went in as a group of 4 on a Friday night with reservations at 6:30. The restaurant was completely empty upon arrival and hardly filled up throughout the night (there were maybe four other table throughout our time there), much to my surprise. I had been here years prior and it was quite busy, so my initial gut reaction was that something had gotten much worse. Our server was very friendly and our cocktails and dishes were great. The octopus and calamari appetizer was cooked very well, and the wagyu dumplings were very crispy and a great sharing. Our group spoke pretty favorably about all of the entrees we got (scallops, salmon, rigatoni, and chicken). For dessert, the donuts were excellent and not too sweet. We also opted for a cookie platter and our server accommodated my weird request for as many chocolate chip cookies as possible lol. The cookies were just okay, and I probably wouldn't get them again. A tad bit burnt at the bottom and they almost has a fruity taste to them, so I wouldn't call them chocolate chip cookies to be honest. The biggest gripe we had was that service was extremely slow. It took almost thirty minutes from seating to get our orders placed, and another fifteen minutes to get our first round of drinks. Do keep in mind that the restaurant was completely empty when we arrived. I still gave this place a five star review as there are a few caveats: our server informed us that they had just changed their menu that day, so certain operations were running slower. Also, having been here years prior there were never issues with the service. So I'm giving Bymark the benefit of doubt here and hoping that this was a one-off issue. Overall, it was a good experience and I'd come back again for a nice night out.

Bymark provided a commendable setting for a corporate lunch, blending a business-like ambiance with a menu that generally impresses. Located conveniently at the TD Tower, it offers the perfect backdrop for workday meals with colleagues and partners. The cuisine, except for the fish dish, met expectations, suggesting that Bymark is a reliable choice for professional gatherings where the setting is just as important as the meal. The restaurant's atmosphere, coupled with its satisfactory culinary offerings, makes it a suitable venue for those looking to combine business with pleasure.

Highly overrated. This is a very average to disappointing restaurant overall There was some hype about this restaurant, so I wanted to give it a try and so took my husband and four of our friends here for his birthday. To start, the staff were not educated or trained on the menu. When our table asked our waiter for suggestions, he was completely oblivious - he didn't even have one recommendation. We also had to beg for water 3 times over the course of the dinner. Similarly, when we asked for recommendations on cocktails/drinks, the waiter replied, saying, " im into traditional drinks," - that was not very helpful. We were left to fend for ourselves. The menu itself was not very inspiring, original, or unique. For example, staples like fried calamari, Caesar, and kale salads can be found in so many mainstream restaurants across the country like Jack Astors, Milestones, Joey etc. Despite that, I wanted to put this menu to the test, so we ordered a total of 13 dishes to share among 6 patrons. To our dismay, 5 of the dishes were extremely boring, bland, and flavorless - the beet salad, the turkey sandwich, the kale salad, the beef tartare, the grilled lobster to name a few. Six other dishes were average, such as the Wagyu dumplings and the tuna tartare. We had to return our fries to the kitchen because they were cold and soggy and reminded us of stale fries you find under the seat of your car. There was not one dish that I found to be intriguing or which I crave to go back and try again. Besides the food and awkward waiting staff, the atmosphere was eerily quiet, lacked ambiance, and was filled with dead silence. I was shocked to see that only 4 of the 25+ tables had guests, and despite that, the waiting staff struggled to stay on top of orders. Learning moment for everyone: I will save your time and money and prevent you from emptying your wallet here needlessly. Go experience fine cuisine elsewhere. Your expectations will not be met here if you are anticipating a gastronomical delight. And, definitely do NOT take anyone here for a special occasion like a birthday, first date, or anniversary - they will be disappointed. Go elsewhere that has an inspiring menu, good service, and at the very least, a spot that offers minimal ambiance. Amen.

Unfortunately, the second small paragraph of comments was from three years ago. Just went back yesterday (Jan 22,2024) got a very disappointing experience. The environment was still nice. The location is perfect. It nestled in the tall buildings of our well known financial district. But the food was horrible. We ordered two of the famous signature burgers, substituted fries with king mushrooms (tasted like leftovers) and brussels sprouts (overcooked and dry). After waited for more than twenty minutes, almost finished all of our drinks, the burgers came out, they were dry as hell, with only a bit of shredded lettuce in between. There was not a single trace of truffles. They did bring some shredded truffles out as an apology. But you could tell the truffles were not fresh. And they admitted that they used majority truffle oil. With that kinda quality of food, I spent $200 right there. Don’t think I’d like to go back again. One of the best burgers in Toronto! this restaurant’s truffle burger is so delicious!

Went here for diner a few nights ago and it was amazing. I started with the octopus which was grilled and seasoned perfectly. Others had the wagyu dumplings and the Korean fired chicken lettuce wraps which were also excellent. For mains the pork belly and scallops(best scallops I've ever had). We also had the east coast lobster pasta and the home made rigatoni which were amazing also ! All together it was a fantastic great experience with a nice atmosphere and view and top notch food.
