By Aanch is a theatrical interpretation of modern day Indian fare. Led by Chef Sudhanshu Kumar, who while staying true to traditional Indian recipes- added his creative twist to each dish. By Aanch serves an array of Indian centric cocktails and intimate platters which are brought to life with heady spices- ground in house, and combining diverse regional methods of cooking. With dashing interiors featuring glimpse of old India, we are bringing the finest Indian flavours to the heart of College Street.

ONE OF THE BEST INDIAN RESTAURANTS!! I came with high expectations and Chef Sudhanshu went above and beyond. His entire staff is amazing! The food was delicious!! All the spices and flavours reminded me of India! 12/10 overall! We ordered the papad chaat, which the Chef customized for us. The veg biryani was amazing, very similar to authentic hyderabadi biryani. We also ordered the mutton Rogan Josh which was extremely authentic! Definitely worth it! Highly recommended for Indian food!

We celebrated our wedding anniversary here and our servers made it very special! They were very polite and kind and knew the menu well. I must say the Dal Makhni and Chur Chur Naan platter was really amazing and their starters were delicious too. Would definitely visit again!

Went here with a quick Google search after the One of a Kind Show...it was honestly a beautiful atmosphere, and we got a wonderful service by Aashish and Didaar. Food came out on time and was absolutely delicious and made very mild upon request. Their menu items for appetizers, drinks, and desserts are unique. A must try if you're in the area and don't mind spending some extra - it's worth it! And of course, it has lots of vegetarian options,I loved their sizzling soya platter. Will be returning again when I am in the area :)

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant on my birthday! The food was incredibly delicious, and they surprised me with a beautifully arranged birthday platter that made the celebration even more special. Manager Ashish was exceptionally attentive and made sure everything was perfect. Highly recommended!

We visited Aanch Restaurant for a post-Diwali dinner, and it was a fantastic experience! I ordered: - Rose Lassi - Super thick and delicious; just the right balance of sweetness. (11/10) - Paan Licious Drink - Beautifully presented and perfectly strong. (10/10) - Basil Paneer Tikka - The paneer was definitely made in-house, incredibly soft and marinated to perfection before being cooked in the tandoor. (11/10) - Papad Chaat - A unique twist on a classic. (7/10) - Badal Jaam Bruschetta - Very different and flavorful. (7/10) - Kadhai Paneer with Chilli Naan - The highlight of the night! We requested an 8/10 spice level, and they delivered INDIA-LEVEL spice. Truly authentic and delicious! (100/10) The authentic North Indian flavors were spot on, with spices that transported us back to India, not just the usual chilli flakes. Our non-vegetarian friends were seriously jealous; they admitted the veg food was outstanding—rare to find such quality here in Toronto. The staff was attentive and welcoming, and they even surprised us with complimentary mango kulfi for Diwali! We also took biryani to-go, can’t wait to try it. Highly recommend this place for its authentic North Indian flavors, attentive service, and memorable food experience. Will definitely be back!

Came here for my Aunt’s birthday. We were looking for a place which has a good ambience for family and good food. To my surprise everything I ordered here was amazinggg. We had the best butter chicken in toronto. Ordered their spicy cocktail, ooh spicy but tasty. Chef is really sweet and talks to the customers personally. Definitely coming back again to try more dishes.

The best Indian food I’ve ever had, mostly because the flavours were excellent but the ingredients and presentation were playful and modern - almost every dish was a beautiful little surprise. Had the Padi shots, tikka trio, mushroom truffle naan, goat curry and a lovely mango kulfi dessert. We like to keep trying new restaurants but will definitely be back, and will bring lots of friends.

Incredible experience eating here with 2 of my friends. The food is amazing, you can tell that they’re using quality ingredients and aren’t cutting any corners. The flavours are just out of this world and deeply nourishing. The service was excellent! Very genuine staff who were welcoming, humble, very helpful. Atmosphere is lovely. Nice music, great decor. I ate here as a vegan and was just blown away by the flavours and selection. Definitely a new favourite spot of mine!!
