Butt Karahi | Famous Halal Pakistani Restaurant

I had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately, it was very disappointing. The food didn’t live up to the name nothing compared to the original Butt Karahi in Pakistan. The karahi lacked flavor, the BBQ was poorly done, and the only decent item was the fish. The service was also very poor, which added to the frustration. There’s so much room for improvement, and I hope they work on both the taste and the service to meet the expectations associated with such a well-known name.

If you're looking for authentic Pakistani cuisine, Butt Karahi in Mississauga is a must-visit! The desi karahis and tandoori items are the stars of the menu, bursting with rich, flavorful spices that transport you straight to Pakistan. The seekh kebabs were tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection. The overall experience was fantastic, with excellent service to match the delectable food. Highly recommended for a true desi dining experience!

We went as a group of 6 people with a reservation on a late Saturday afternoon/evening. Food was great and tasted fresh. We had the fries as the appetizers. And for the mains, we got a boneless chicken, beef and paneer karahi. Everything tasted really good and staff was friendly and accommodating. The service was relatively slow however and even though they have a prayer area, it's suitable for only one person at a time, two if you really squeeze together.

It’s a great place for a nice family gathering. We all really enjoyed the food. Delicious food and awesome service. Kiran and other staff members were amazing. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to try delicious karahi or biryani or Bbq.

"I recently visited Butt Karahi and was thoroughly impressed with their flavorful dishes. The charsi goat karahi and chicken karahi were the stars of the meal. Both were cooked to perfection, with the right balance of spices that brought out the rich, authentic flavors of the meats. The tenderness of the goat and chicken, combined with the bold karahi spices, made for a truly memorable meal. One of the other highlights was the chana daal, which was absolutely delicious. The texture and seasoning were just right, and it paired wonderfully with the selection of breads. Whether you prefer naan, parantha, or the traditional khamiri roti, the breads were fresh, warm, and perfect for soaking up the rich gravies. The service was another aspect worth noting. All the servers were incredibly sweet and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed and making us feel very welcome. Their hospitality added to the overall positive experience. While the food was fantastic, I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the ambiance could be improved a bit. However, the amazing food and exceptional service more than made up for it. I would highly recommend Butt Karahi to anyone looking for an authentic and flavorful meal, and I will definitely be returning!"

But the real star of the show was the Goat Karahi—absolutely delicious, tender, and seasoned beautifully.
