Burke Steiner's Pub & Grill

I have been a patron of Burke Steiners for a while now. It has become a second home and the people like family. I love karaoke so Friday nights are a personal favourite! Anytime I go in I know I will be greeted by a friend server. Heather, Emily and Britt are extremely friendly and entertaining! The new girls are very sweet and are learning from the senior staff quickly. The owners Velog and Kobe genuinely care about the customers and the food the put out. It’s refreshing to see owners caring for their staff as well! If you’re new to town, looking for a good dinner or even want to grab something quick, I highly recommend! Oh, and they are open til 1am Sunday-Wednesday and 2am Thursday-Saturday. The kitchen stays open until close so it’s always my go-to after a work shift! Oh, my personal favourites on the menu are the beef dip sandwich, wings, spinach stuffed chicken and the Chilli Chicken.

The bar itself is nicely decorated and welcoming. The bartender was super friendly and attentive. The food is the issue. To be fair it is a pub, so when ordering maybe stick to pub fare. I ordered the seafood trio and it was barely edible. The salmon was extremely overcooked, the shrimp in my linguine didn’t even have the poop track removed, barf! And the vegetables just tasted weird, I had one bite of those and nothing more. Steamed veggies, not sure how you mess that up? I did eat the coconut shrimp which was deep fried, so I guess not a total bust? Hmm. Perhaps shrink the menu and stick to things that you’ve mastered. Thanks bartender tho!

We stopped by for lunch - grilled cheese sandwich with a garden salad for me, and jerk chicken tacos with fries for Hubby. We were both totally pleased with our repasts. It was our good fortune to have Madison take our order + bring the food to our table. You simply won't find a more helpful or a more friendly staff member anywhere! She was so very personable - absolutely a big part of our dining experience being such a total pleasure ! Be nice to yourself and head to Burke Steiner's for a delicious meal and great service, all in a super friendly atmosphere sure to make you decide you'll be coming back again!

I recently dined at Burke steiners and had an incredible experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for both casual dinners and special occasions. The menu offered a wide variety of options, each dish prepared with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor. I ordered the suicide chicken wings, which was prepared to perfection, and the presentation was stunning. The staff was attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. I also appreciated their knowledge of the menu, offering great recommendations based on our preferences. Especially, the prices are so much cheaper than other restaurants. Overall, this pub is a landmark in the area, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. I’ll definitely be returning soon!

I had a fantastic time at this Pub & Grill with my colleagues. The ambiance is inviting, with warm lighting and a vibrant atmosphere, especially with the addition of 8 pool tables. The 40 Creek Whisky Wings and Suicide Wings are perfect starters to pair with drinks. For dinner, the NY-style AAA steak was cooked to perfection, making it a great way to end the night. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a lively spot with great food!

I heard a lot of great things about this place and they were right. I tried their chili chicken over lo mein noodles and I was very satisfied and impressed. The spice was perfect as well as the heat. As someone who likes to eat hot and spicy dishes, this hit the spot perfectly. I'll definitely be coming back to try other dishes.

I have read so many good reviews of Burke Steiner's so we decided to try them out for our anniversary. We arrived to a completely empty and silent restaurant, but being after Christmas wasn't an issue. The decor was very nice, restaurant smelled very clean and sanitized. The menu is quite large, which usually indicates that the items are premade and/or frozen from a food manufacturer, which was a bit off putting. We ordered two meals and a kids meal, and while the ideas of the food were good, the execution was not. My husband ordered the Chili Chicken, which was not bad. It had lots of veggies and the option to choose rice or lo mein noodles. The chicken, however, tasted (in his words) like "old frozen leftovers". He also said that there wasn't a lot of flavour, and the spice was only added to be heat, not flavour. I ordered the California Burger. The burger patty tasted like a frozen beef patty. It was very disappointing. The avocado served on the burger also was not ripe. My son ordered the pepperoni pizza. It was a premade flatbread with awful sauce, cheese and odd pepperoni. We were given the wrong bill ($20 more than what our bill was), it came back corrected, but had an extra drink on it that we didn't order. The 3rd bill was finally correct. Overall, very disappointed in our meal. We will NOT be returning.

Happened to stumble across this venue. As recently relocated Brits to Canada this place did not disappoint. Shae (I think that’s the spelling) was both charming and attentive in equal measure. She absolutely made our experience.. along with really great food. So impressed, lovely Chardonnay too! What’s not to love, will definitely be back if not just to see Shae! Thanks for a great afternoon ❤️
