First time here for dinner. The place carries a heavy sense of nostalgia. Big bright space with huge paintings. Firstly the staff are super friendly and professional with fantastic service. The location felt a bit empty. We started with some cocktails. Their cocktails are very decent and the wine menu is priced well. We had appetizers and mains. Their cocktails baked rolls were hot and fresh and went well with our snails. For mains we had Canard a l'orange and Lamb. Sadly our mains were a little disappointing. For the price I was expecting a better quality of main, tough meat that was lacking flavour. I’m a sting believer in supporting local business and would definitely want to see this place do well.

Our experience here was excellent in all regards. I emailed the restaurant to request a quiet table, as my husband and I were meeting with a client who was visiting Toronto for the first time. I received a personal reply from Min. The restaurant is located on a quiet, interesting street and has lovely ambience. When we arrived, Min greeted us by name and escorted us to the perfect table. The food and service was excellent. Lots of choice on the menu. Min treated us as honoured guests. We are sure to return. Thank you Min.

My dinner reservation at Bumpkin's was wonderful, fantastic food, impeccable service, cosy ambience and a lovely atmosphere. Headed to the restaurant for an early dinner reservation as I had a broadway show after, with my expected 2 hours dining time...I was able to sit, relax and enjoy my dinner without feeling rushed in a cosy fireplace burning dining room with lovely decor. My 3 course meal was well paced as I went for the prix fixe menu option....my hot cream of broccoli soup was delicious with warm bread, so was my lamb dish with roasted potatoes and veggies cooked to perfection and finish off with my favorite dessert tiramisu...wine was good and nicely chilled. The service from my server was very professional and pleasant, everything well timed...as I do enjoy fine dining...this was one of the best...I'll definitely return to this restaurant in the future as it was everything I've hoped for...Highly recommend!

I was traveling to Toronto with my husband and friend for the first time and we stumbled upon this restaurant because it was close to our hotel. The food was absolutely fantastic, the prices were fair snd the service was very pleasant/excellent. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to have a more upscale dinner! We certainly will be coming back when we visit Toronto.

A true hidden gem of Toronto…perfectly cooked steak seasoned with shaved garlic on top. Great Wine. The meal doesn’t burn a hole in your pocket and the staff are all stellar. Compliments to the chef👌🏼

A hidden gem in Toronto. One of my favourite restaurant in Toronto for dinner and weekend brunch. Service is impeccable, white table cloth style. The food is fresh delicious. Min makes awesome Minosas! My favourite meal here are the mussels and eggs Benny.
