This is the best soft tofu soup in this area, I think. You can also choose the spice level for your soup, which is great. My favorite is the stone pot rice. It’s perfect for cold weather and pairs well with the soup. I recommend ordering bulgogi as a side. We eat small portions, so we don’t order it often unless we’re with friends, but it goes even better with the stone pot rice—well, at least to me.

The Korean Soon Tofu Soup (Beef, Mussels and Shrimp), and Bulgogi Soup + Hot Stone Pot Rice were awesome! The Korean Soon Tofu Soup was flavourful and savoury. Such a great tofu soup with the beef, mussels and shrimp. The Bulgogi Soup was sweet and savoury with delicious bulgogi. It goes perfectly with the rice from the hot stone pot rice. Would definitely recommend if you are craving a good soup.

Lowkey this place never disappoints. I’ve been eating here since I was little and it’s always been one of my fav Korean restaurants!! I personally love their bean sprout side dish and I always get the seafood soon tofu. So yummy!! We were seated right away, food was fast, and the servers were very nice. They even gave me extra bean sprout when I asked for more. :) One thing though is that it is a bit on the pricier side. But overall I love it!!!!!!

If you're in the area, you’ve got to try the Kimchi Soondubu Jigae and Dolsot Bibimbap—super authentic! The banchans are really tasty too. Definitely worth a visit!

Disappointed! The worst Korean cuisine we tried in Toronto! The waiter suddenly added cold water into the hot pot with half bowl rice without seeking our opinion. We asked, “what was he doing?” He said the rice with cold water was for us to clear the throat after meal, however we never be treated by any waiter in Korean restaurant like this which made the rice disgusting 🤢. We couldn’t eat them anymore. Moreover, the “seafood” in the soup were in the SMALLEST size we could never imagine! Not Worth! We ordered Spicy Pork with Rice. The menu with photo shows that the food is delivered on sizzling plate, but finally come with a cold plate which made us feeling surprised. They admitted that the set was served on sizzling plate in the past but cold plate for now. So why didn’t they delete the unmatched photo to make confusion? My friend asked for a bigger table when he arrived and stood on the entrance. The waiter said NO for 2 persons, but the other 2 persons came later who sit on the bigger table directly, whereas the waiter allowed them to do so. Overall, food quality and restaurant attitude taught us NEVER COME BACK AGAIN!

We ordered seafood and combination soon tofu. I think they forgot our Oyster in the soup tonight. However, it is great as always. We ordered extra spicy and it was okay haha not spicy at all so it’s safe for you to try. Soup has great flavour and lots of soft tofu. They give us an egg to crack inside the soup. Side dishes are refillable and refreshing. Soup isn’t too salty either. Katsu was not bad.

I’m not a fan of Sundubu-jjigae (soon tofu) until I had a taste of it here. It’s rich with all the flavours of Korea, the spice, the sweet, the sour, all blending and oozing in just one tasty bowl. Just go for what this place is for and what they have perfected - their signature soon tofu dishes, that’s what’s good here, but not the appetizers such as the dumplings and pork cutlet. By the way they serve amazingly fast!
