Built Custom Burgers

Be warned that “The L.A. Way” burger is SPICY. There is no warning on their menu prior to purchasing. Hated the burger. It was also overpriced and all the burgers purchased were well below average burgers. Not to mention their combos do not come with a beverage. Purchasing the burger and the fries separately is the same price as the combo which only includes burger and fries. I would only recommend the fries, they were pretty good. I don’t like that the menu has no price of the burgers without the combos as they are trying to only upsell the combos and only show the pricing for both the fries and burgers together. I truly disliked this restaurant. They should be more transparent on their menu about spice level and pricing of individual items.

This has to be one of the worst most disgusting, unsanitary places I have ever eaten. Easily the worst burger I have ever eaten. The irony is they dont have a clue on how to make a burger. Hard to believe this place gets business. Do yourself a favour and google this place before eating there. If I could give less than one star I would. Avoid this place at all costs.

Never in my life have I ever had a burger that tasted so bad it made SHT tasted good. I got the Toronto Style burger considering I am in Toronto airport, and the bun is dry and hard. The beef patty is paper-thin, and even the red onion is stale. $19.79 for literally garbage.

I can't even begin to explain how horrendous my experience was at Custom Built Burgers in Toronto. First off, the food was an absolute disaster. I’ve had better frozen patties from the grocery store. The burger I ordered was dry, flavorless, and looked nothing like what was advertised. The bun was stale, the meat tasted like rubber, and they somehow managed to make the cheese completely unmelty—how is that even possible? I honestly wouldn't feed this to a dog. And let's talk about the price. For what they charge, I expected at least something edible, but I felt completely ripped off. It was ridiculously overpriced for the absolute garbage they served. For the cost of one of these sad excuses for a burger, I could’ve had a meal that was actually worth eating—like a decent steak dinner. But the worst part of the experience was the staff. The service was unbelievably slow, and when I finally got my food, the employees were downright rude. No smiles, no politeness, just a bunch of disinterested people who clearly hated their jobs. It was honestly shocking how bad the customer service was. If you're thinking about going to Custom Built Burgers, do yourself a favor and save your money. This place is a joke, and I wouldn’t go back if you paid me. Terrible food, ridiculous prices, and a staff that couldn't care less about your experience. Don’t waste your time or money on this overpriced, low-quality disaster of a restaurant.

Service was slow. Staff were not engaged at all land just going through the motions. There is no timer on the fryer so the fries were way overdone. Burger was flavorless and cold.

I can’t believe this place is rated as high as 1.9 stars! I visited it today at Toronto airport and, seeing the long line, I assumed the burgers must be good. I was wrong. The burgers were terrible, made with the wrong cheese and toppings on mine. The staff—four women today—were slow, inattentive, and more interested in chatting than helping the rushed passengers. The beef and chicken were of the lowest quality, and to top it off, the prices are outrageous. I’d give McDonald’s a 10/10 compared to this place’s 1/10. I paid $40 for two awful burgers and a diet coke. Avoid this place at all costs!

Worst burger in my life. The patty was cooked beforehand and reheated. It had an awful taste, cold on the inside and just warm on the outside. The meat patty was dried out.

If you’re waiting in line, please find somewhere else to eat because it is NOT worth it. I waited 45 mins for a thin patty and a brioche bun from hell. The fries are thin and dry. Nothing has flavour. Should have listened to the reviews.
